Seeing as I've grown bored of my old Thurrock to Fiorentina game, I thought I'd try something different with my supported club, Liverpool. I decided to make three teams, one for the Premier League, one for the Champions League and one for the other competitions. I will play the same eleven in each match according to where they fit in according to my team selections. Anyone that is injured will be replaced by a player from the team higher (in the Premier League team's case, they will be replaced by the ones below). The substitutes will be chosen by the same method. I was given £28m to spend so obviously I couldn't do too much straight away but I'm hoping this game will keep me going until FM09 will come out. I'm well happy with this month. I'm literally only 1 point behind undefeated league leaders Chelsea at the moment and I'm through the group stages in Europe. Unfortunately, I was really angry at the Sevilla game. We were 3-0 up and cruising when Skrtel was sent packing and we seemed to crumble and conceded 4 goals in 30 minutes (50th to 81st minute). We weren't the same team after that. I'm interested to see just how well the '2nd team' play against current European Champions, Milan. |

I'm not looking to win. It's just something I'm trying out until FM09 comes out.
Besides, if I carry on playing this until said date comes around, I intend on strengthening all three sides.
