Transfer Budget:0 Wage Budget:4,666 (all used) Board Expectations: Mid-table Media Expectation: 11th Your Expectations: Playoff finish Decided to start a new game as Blyth Spartans (thanks to wozza  ), even got a little challenge going with him to see who can do the best, as you can see from above funds are extremely tight and expectations average so bring on the new season. A great pre season saw us beat the likes of Mansfield Town 4-1 and draw with Bournemouth 1-1 at Croft Park, however we did lose 3-0 and 2-1 at home to Airdrie Utd and Northwich but the lads have done me proud  Transfers in/out  Squad  FA Cup 2nd qual. rd  Setanta Shield N 1st rd

You're doing really well, mate. I really hope you can keep this story going so we see how you get on in the Championship and maybe beyond!
I still have a soft-spot for Blyth Spartans as I remember them getting to the 5th round of the cup in '78. If I remember rightly they took Wrexham (who were old 2nd div then) to a replay.
Your finances look in good shape, but I'll be interested to see how you improve things in the Championship. Cheers for the comments guys, currently 3rd after 15 games and going well maybe a third promotion is on the cards lol, never enjoyed a game so much as I do now nothing better than taking a small club on to bigger and better things i'll update again soon. |
