Must be because of performance rather then standrard while i go for standard rather then performance (unless its really bad) 4 trophies in 4 seasons, while i managed 2 trophies and 2 league titles in 4 seasons (as well as 2 runner ups in trophies) lol, not bad. Really want to see your tactic Ru, it seems amazing, and i thought my attacking tactic was good! Yours seem to score plenty!

It probably did. It still bugs me now, thinking of how many goals he could've got for us if he had stayed. His stats, like you said, are great for the lower leagues, that's why I was so disappointed to see him leave.

Regardless of that, hopefully soon Thurrock will be a bigger club that Ipswich.

Thats what i hate about lower league teams, if you ever manage to get a good player they treat you like dirt

Stancu done that to me in my blackpool game he wasent great in the first season as he got 19 goals and the second season he had that much before christmas and he left me for another team

Sam Higgins has stuck with me through it all so far though. He hasn't asked for a transfer nor has he even been unhappy.

I've even made him my captain for our maiden season in League Two.

His stats so far are...
2008/09 - 49 games, 51 goals, 12 assists, 14 man of the match awards & an average rating of 7.82.
2009/10 - 42 games, 31 goals, 6 assists, 7 man of the match awards & an average rating of 7.50.
2010/11 - 56 games, 42 goals, 11 assists, 16 man of the match awards & an average rating of 7.57.
2011/12 - 3 games, 0 goals, 0 assists, 0 man of the match awards & an average rating of 6.67.

He's struggled to capture his form from the previous three seasons but I've got faith in the lad. He's out for 3 weeks at the moment though with a broken nose.

lmao he has "struggled to capture his form from the previous three seasons" tho he still scored 73 goals in 101 games

Give him half a chance Ru and Bowser! Jesus - if I dropped/sold every player that had a bad couple of matches, I'd have no team lol.

He'll be OK - maybe not as stunning as previous years (perhaps you have changed personnel/tactics, and it's a higher standard of league) but he will still get at the very least 20 I would say.

He's starting to pick up his form. I thought that maybe League Two is a league too high for Higgins.

Just to let you all know that I'm struggling big time in League Two. I'm sitting in 23rd place and I have only picked up 2 wins in 9 games, although my last game was a 4-1 win.

So that's my Thurrock career over but a new journey in my career is about to start. I'm a little perplexed as to why Fiorentina felt the need to offer me a job. They're bottom of Serie A so I've got a bit of work to do.

The thing that confused me the most was that in my Norwich save game, I couldn't find a new job after leaving them (thus the reason why I finished with that savegame) and I got them to the Champions League semi finals, but I managed to find a good team straight away.

Very weird.
