Still baffled how I am not in Champions League
Also can people recommend me some players for next season who will help improve my team. I think I will have a transfer budget of about 60 mil :)

You more than likely have got Champions League football next season mate. I've noticed that until the season is officially over (i.e. the Champions League final has been played), then 4th place always has a EC sign next to it in the league.
It should change later mate.
Also, great stuff getting to 4th in the first place. |

Soulsby Angered by Thaksin
Manchester City manager Ryan Soulsby today stated in his press conference that he was annoyed and disappointed with the funds his chairman had given him to help strengthen the squad.He today said "I am really disappointed with him as I thought he may give us some money to help us in the Champions League but what he gave me is not enough!"
As Sky sports news believes Soulsby has been given 21.5 million pounds for the new season but he wanted around about 60 million.
Will he still be at the club next season?

You will be in the Champions' League the table does that until you get a message telling you who's in what Euro comps next season.
You seriously got ripped of for Michael Johnson and Stephen Ireland. You can sell Ireland for about 7.5 and Johnson for about 20 in the 2nd season. Isaksson is good too he's worth more than that. |

I've beaten United 7-0 at OT with Liverpool before in the first season. Then again they did have two defenders sent off.

it can happen, i drawed 4-4 away against mu, won 5-4 against mu, etc
sometimes, they just happen, i was also surprised to draw mu at OT using Man City(i expected a 3-1 loss)

i recommend pablo piatti (he's now worth 5 mil in my game, bought him for 220k i think, you can get him for 95k-150k 1st season), VDV, hugo lloris/ochoa/benoit costil/fabianski, luis jimenez, joao moutinho
that's just from the top of my head
luis jimenez and joao moutinho are both atking mids and are more experienced and better than michael johnson. but maybe he will be better than both of them because johnson's PA is -9. i sent johnson on loan and bought in vdv
note: vdv is great, he led my team's and epl's assist table with.. 20 assists i think. elano made 21 assists and they were both leading the assist table, alongside 2 other players (maybe ranking 5-8) -bojinov and piatti i think- who helped me get epl runner-up + cl + fa
henri lansbury is a good prospect for the future though, if i remember correctly his PA is -9, so is piatii's

Champions League Here we come!
 Ryan Soulsby was all smiles after his team managed a win At Olympiakos and to win the tie comfortably. This means that City will be playing Champions League football next season with the big boys.
Hero,Guilherme said "I am delighted that we made the Champions League and hope I can fire them to the knockout stages.
In Other news Ilsinho's proposed transfer to Man City has been cancelled as he could not get a work permit. Soulsby said "I am very disappointed as he is a great player"
It is believed that Soulsby has been to Seville this week to scout a right winger.

SkySports Breaking news
Skysports believes that Man City manager Ryan Soulsby is close to quitting Manchester City after a terrible August month. Man City fans were fuming after the team lost easy games v.s Wigan and Ipswich and we understand that Soulsby is close to walking out.
If Soulsby does leave, he will leave a top right winger after signing winger Alejandro Alfaro for 7.5 million. He is believed to make his debut v.s Charlton which could be the managers last game.

Charlton v.s Man City(Fav)
I was very happy with the teams performance in this game after our poor results so far in the EPL. I was very happy with Bodgan Stancu in this game who made some very good runs.
Tottenham(Fav) v.s Man City
A dissapointing performance from my side today. I believe that huntelaar and Guilherme should be showing more.The penalty was dubious and the FA were silent over my criticsm of the referee.Explains it all doesn't it.
Man City fans:We Need Elano back!
After seeing there side lose to Tottenham Man City fans stated they can't wait until injured attacking midfielder is back from injury. He has been injured since the start of the season but may be back for the ECC game v.s Zaragoza.
