Right I am terrible at football manager someone please help!
I am Arsenal and I have just started my second season. I just got thrashed 4-1 of Chelsea in community shield final and prem just about to start. Please help me! I definitely need a new formation as this one is terrible!
Which players should I sign?
Which players should I sell?
What formation should I use?
What training schedule should I use?
p.s.I have 60 mil

Please help me!!!
(1st season won fa cup,3rd in league,knockout stage of champ league and semi finals of league cup)

I wouldn't worry about a Community Shield match.

You obviously done well last season by winning the FA Cup.

There's been times that I've dominated everything the previous season but still got thumped in the Community Shield.
Give your team a chance in the following season. If you are still doing bad after 9 or 10 games then you probably do have a problem.

The community shield is a nothing game. I've been thumped 7-0 in that fixture before and still went on to win the league.

Oh and I'd advise buying a back up keeper. You only have one.

oh yeah i need to put fabianski in the squad.
But which formation would you recommend i played bad in pre season and the community shield so i dont think that tactic is right for me:(
I have used feddo's 3-4-3 but it didnt work very well for me:(
Is there any tactic you would highly recommend?

There are a few tactics that come highly recommended on here.

Evertonfan's 433 is very popular. I've never used it before but everyone bangs on about it and Wozza's Widge (not rude) is a good tactic as well. Although you may need to tweak the latter's defensive instructions as you can concede loads against bigger clubs.

I'd probably sign a more reliable keeper to be honest with you mate. You say you've got £60m so use it on a keeper. I doubt even Buffon would cost you that much. As for the rest, your squad seems pretty strong to me although I'm not a big fan of Eboue so I'd say get rid of him and Fabianski (depends on how well he's progressed).

Training schedules I don't know much about. I've never used another person's schedule so I wouldn't know which one to use.

Right as for training i use Tug's Training for youths and first team it does great may need some tweaking but it works well only if you have the best coaches.

Have you got top coaches and have you sorted out the coaches training so they only train in there specialized area?

Right go on

Training - Coaches then Click Auto Assign All and then see the difference in the training and also look for the weakest area and try and bring in a new coach for that area and the players will start shooting up in training.

Right guys start of January i am 6th in a league may sound bad but only 5 points from top. Anyone recommend what positions I should improve? My squad list is at top of this thread. Thanks guys

hoooorayyyy Just won the league cup!!

The only trophy I can win

Nearl into my 3rd season and have just thought my squad will be aging I have quite good youth players anyone recommend who I should sign and also who is too old now and that I should sell!
Also need a good tactic for next season so I can win this bloody LEAGUE!!!
