So I picked FC Tatabánya, the weakest team of NB I (Media Prediction: 16th) The squad at the start is weak and needs to be refreshed so with some new player I successfully finished at 10th position. And I also got qualified for UEFA Cup since I played in the Hungarian Cup Final. NB I at the end of the season. Hungarian Cup, Final So next time I will try to describe it a bit more detailed. | | | | | 20-06-08, 09:07 PM | #2 (permalink) | | What Fed can do with a grape, I can't do with a beach ball! Especially as you've got there with the weakest team in the league. Make sure you keep us all updated to what is going on. And then, a mor detailed description of the pre-season ^^ Yet another successful transfer window. I knew I again needed a refreshment, especially in the middle and defence. Defence My first new player was Mersed Marjanovic who arrived free from Sarajevo. He has got a great pace, heading, marking and tackling attribute so he is a perfect central defender for my team. Though according to my assistant's report he has got a quite poor intelligence, but certainly can become a quality player. And I also bought Csaba Regedei (D RC, WB R; for €9K) who meanwhile became unnecessary for the holder Újpest. He has got quite good mental attributes and he is rather pacey. Both of these players are rather young (Marjanovic is 20, Regedei is 25) Midfield The first and most important signing is Arséne Copa (AMF LC; for €220K) from Győr. He has a very good pace, but also very low natural fitness so he most likely is not gonna play every matches to the end. And my assistant reported that he might have problems with injuries and that his has poor aerial abilities. István Rácz (M C), free from ZTE, has a good potencial ability but he might be a decent player by now, too. He is good at taking set pieces. And the last player I signed last year joined my club now (Bosmann). Zsombor Kerekes (ST) is rather old and probably won't even fit in anymore. So he will be only a back-up for the first team. And I also am trying to sign Jan Simek from Jera. He is transfer listed and has an asking price of €20K. The only problem is that he doesn't seem to be willing to join me. Fixtures In the first round of the UEFA Cup I will play against Valletta from Malta. It is a bit comforting news since I have a quite good chance to win. In the League Cup I am in the same group with Diósgyőr, Nyíregyháza, ZTE. I won't be easy, but again, I might have a chance. In the NB1 the first match will be against MTK at home which is a good news again (On our last match I defeated them 7-1; it is still my biggest win ever) And the next one against Honvéd (Again, I won the last match against them; 2-1) And at last.. the team report: Here (Though I don't understand why Regedei is the right winger here o.o) Last edited by Aric; 25-06-08 at 07:00 PM. | | | | | 25-06-08, 05:02 PM | #6 (permalink) | | vBookie Team, Member of the Ozza Family Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Cheshire Posts: 2,657 Thanks: 621 Thanked 410 Times in 332 Posts Nominated 5 Times in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | This is great! I am at 10th posotion again, like last year. I have to improve, cause I think I have the required players for it. Hungarian League Cup - I got promoted from the 1st Phase Grp Stage. UEFA Cup - I beated Valletta easily but the I got knocked out by CSKA Sofia. Hungarian Cup - I lost the first match of the 3rd against Mosonmagyaróvár. This team is starting to annoy me.. Leagues and Cups Hungarian Division I - So I am just saying I have done quite well this time. I just hope I can keep this position till the end of this season. I am lying in the 4th place. Hungarian League Cup, 1st Phase: I got promoted from the 1st Phase Grp Stage, but then I was knocked out by ZTE. (1-2 on agg.) Hungarian League Cup, 2nd Phase: Group Stage, I am currently lying in the 2nd place. The team I was quite disappointed that Krcun Radunovic was injured for some months. He had a very promising start scoring eight goals in ten appearances. And as he finally returned, my other striker, Lewandowski, suffered an injury on the match against Diősgyőr, luckily only for 1-2 weeks. Basically I am satisfied with my team and its performance. I have a very good attacking side (Lewandowski and Kollát/Radunovic as strikers and Kichi and Copa as wingers) but I am afraid I need a new goalkeeper, because I feel the current one, Szalma, isn't being in a good form recently, and I also need a refreshment for the midfield. I also signed a new assitant manager, Gianfranco Zola, whose knowledge and experience might be useful for the team. And.. transfer window is starting soon. | | | | | 30-06-08, 03:58 AM | #17 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 2,501 Thanks: 309 Thanked 637 Times in 609 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Gianfranco zola.....hmm could be onto a winner there mate. Balázs Balogh and Viktor Farkas was sold to Paks and BKV Előre in exchange for János Szabó and Viktor Benke. They are neither good players atm, nor have got a great potential, but they might be useful for the U19/Reserve team. I also sold one of my best players, Péter Bíró, a central defender, to Ferencváros for 75K €. Milán Disztl was also released on free transfer. Ákos Harnisch and Attila Kriston went to Hajdúszoboszló, my feeder club, on loan. My first signing was a goalkeeper from Ferencváros, who has got a great current and potencial ability, Bence Somodi. So from now on I shouldn't have got any problems with my GK. Michal Svestka (AM, R) arrived from the Czech Republic, and has got a quite good potential ability. He is rather pacey and actually good at dribbling. Bojan Bozovic (St, from Kaposvár) will be a perfect back-up for my strikers. (Though now I have more foreign players, and only 5 are allowed to play on a match.) Ákos Harnisch (AM, L) is not a good player though but he might become a decent one, once he gets older. Márk Petneházi (AM, RLC), arrived from Orosháza, was the star of the second division and he might get a quality player within some years. And at last Péter Czvitkovics, he is a good midfielder, with good attributes at dribbling and technique, but he has got a poor pace. So now I've the line in the central midfield, a defensive one (Pintér and Balogh) and an attacking one (Czvitkovics and Petneházi) | | | | | 02-07-08, 09:41 PM | #19 (permalink) | | What Fed can do with a grape, I can't do with a beach ball!
