I've never been that bothered about clean sheets. As long as I score more goals than my opponents, I don't care.  Anyway, good results for Feb mate. Keep it up. |

March Fixtures, Results & Summary:
 Had a great month, 4 Wins out of 6 matches. .. Although a HEAVY 3-nil loss to Hampton & Richmond confounded me. Followed that up with a nice 6-nil win over Lewes and we're sky rocketing to the top now. Ten goals for Moses this month, capped by a four goal match against Bath. Sheringham kept up his good form with another 5 goals. These boys are blowing away the league! April Fixtures, Results & Summary:
 April was a very slow month, but it went well. 7 points out of a total of 9 for us. Moses with four goals in 3 matches and Sheringham a modest 3 in 3. In the top 5 now and it looks like promotion is in sight! May Fixtures, Results & Summary:
Picked up a win over Basingstoke to end the season, with Moses & Sheringham each hitting the twine. Here's my end of the season ranking:
 St. Albans was tough in the Semi Final, and came back to win the first leg 5-4 after going down 3-0 in the first half. Big win in the second leg to take it 9-5 on aggregate. Three goals from Moses in the first leg and then he lit up with another 3 in the second. UNBELIEVABLE! We got to the finals on the back of Moses! My center back picked up a red in the 80th and we'll be without him in the finals. Two Goals from Sheringham had us looking like we were going to win, until Tait scored and crushed the Away side in the 90'th minute. Goign to ET the teams were even, although I finished the ET with 21 shots to 9. Stepping up to the PK's and my goalie got the first save and we scored, take an early advantage. BUT Moses my good luck charm missed his kick and we were even after two shots. Martin came up HUGE again with a save and then my team put the game on Ice.  WHAAT A SEASON! After dwelling in the bottom for the first two months, BRAINTREE IS GOING UP! End of season Overview:  Moses ended up as my highest scorer, getting 30goals from January - May.. OH What a season it could of been? The best news, Both he and Sheringham have us listed as their favorite clubs so the chance of season long loans next year looks good. .. hopefully then I can sign them to the team. Get em before they're worth millions ;). Next season expectations etc will come up later today :) |
