With recent news going on about the state of ground level football, and there facilities and the fact that there are very few and if not no good young British players, I given Myself a challenge, to create a Non-League football team and keep them up with no money and no wage budget.... By only using the youth players that come through the ranks at the club. Here are the rules. RulesThe Youth and Training facilities will be 0 (random) This way I could get a world class youth system or a pitch filled with beer cans and glass. I am allowed 1 loan player, and he MUST be British and Under 19. I have an unlimited amount of time to complete this challenge. If the Club go bust, I get sacked or I get relegated out of the Blue Square North then it is game over. I can hire any staff I want but they MUST be British.
Everyone wish me luck as I dare to do the impossible and win something without the help of any non-British players Last edited by Wednesdayboy; 18-06-08 at 03:42 PM. | Current Game/s ----------------------------- Starting at Wexford Youths, Manager Darling goes for world domination, but he's gotta start somewhere. | | | 17-06-08, 12:04 PM | #2 (permalink) | | FMF's Toon Army Spiderman and member of the Writers Crew Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: wiltshire Posts: 2,491 Thanks: 309 Thanked 636 Times in 608 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Good luck mate, I think you set yourself a helluva challenge. Good luck. If you can keep Ephraim fit, there may just be a chance you can get something out of this, and well done on winning the last 3 games | Signature-Care of Ru Top FMF GFX Artist Current game Tottenham Hotspur 2007- Follow it here! | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Hartynips For This Useful Post: | | 18-06-08, 09:05 AM | #12 (permalink) | | What Fed can do with a grape, I can't do with a beach ball! To be honest with you, I wasn't too sure you'd win 3 all season. Like Harty said, keep Ephraim fit and you might be fine. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to liveru For This Useful Post: | | 18-06-08, 09:15 AM | #13 (permalink) | | Used In Squad Rotation Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Sunderland Posts: 484 Thanks: 6 Thanked 24 Times in 15 Posts Nominated 0 Times in 0 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | amazing challenge, i honestly dont thnk you can do it (before fm09 is out), prove me wrong mate.
