With recent news going on about the state of ground level football, and there facilities and the fact that there are very few and if not no good young British players, I given Myself a challenge, to create a Non-League football team and keep them up with no money and no wage budget.... By only using the youth players that come through the ranks at the club. Here are the rules. RulesThe Youth and Training facilities will be 0 (random) This way I could get a world class youth system or a pitch filled with beer cans and glass. I am allowed 1 loan player, and he MUST be British and Under 19. I have an unlimited amount of time to complete this challenge. If the Club go bust, I get sacked or I get relegated out of the Blue Square North then it is game over. I can hire any staff I want but they MUST be British.
Everyone wish me luck as I dare to do the impossible and win something without the help of any non-British players

looks like a brilliant challenge ive started somethin similar yet i just started with a team and set a target that i was only allowed to buy english players that were under 19 and use my youths that come up from academy
i got to league 2 after 3 seasons but then just couldnt keep it up and was just saved on last day thanks to a 1-1 draw by my team lol |
