Hey all. I have just completed my second season as Liverpool FC and have gained a contract extension. I am also playing with a friend who was manager of Chelsea but after two trophy-less seasons he has been sacked and moved onto Juventus. In my first season I finished 4th in the EPL but I won the Carling Cup. In my 2nd season, I had an 8 point lead through 24 games and managed to finish 2nd with 85 points behind Arsenal who had 92. Due to some freak injuries and a ridiculous 4-0 loss to relegated Bolton, I was a little upset at this. But I did manage to win the Champions League by beating my buddy, Chelsea 1-0. I just thought I'd ask your opinions on my squad and where you think I stand to improve.

I am running a 4-1-3-1-1.

The reason you don't see Pepe Reina is that the board decided to stiff me this summer and only give me 13 million in transfer budgets even though I won the Champions League. Another reason being that after Reina gave up 4 goals to Bolton with 5 games left in the league, I switched to Carson who managed to take 4 straight clean sheets to end the season including the CL Final.

In this window, I've already signed AMR Kazenga Lualua, ST Alberto Bueno, AMC Keko, and I'm looking to add to some depth.

I'm looking to bolster my defense and probably add a right winger. The guys I'm looking at are:

WB/L Abdou Razack Traore
DC Sidnei
DC Steven Taylor

I have not a clue on where to look at right winger, I'm not looking for anyone to displace Ryan Babel as over the past two seasons he has averaged around a 7.3 rating. Ashley Young has struggled a little bit since he moved over here and I'd be interested in maybe looking for a explosive replacement should the opportunity to arise. I believe (I don't have the game with me at the moment as it is not hosted on my PC) that I have around 25 million left to spend. So any input would be greatly appreciated as I look to lead Liverpool FC to their first EPL title since 1990.

Hmmm i dont know much defenders off by heart buy Clichy is a excellent LB in my book. Sakho and Breno are brillant CB's may still be young but can really turn out awesome if trained well.

The winger i used alot was Jesus Navas he assisted quite a few goals for me at arsenal and would sometimes beat defenders and place the ball in the back of the net.
Silva probly 1 of the best wingers on the game but could cost you alot of money.
Andrea Barzagli can turn out to be a great DC aswell may cost you 12M+ though only 26 not a bad aged for a DC.
I also like to use Mertesacker as DC some people may dislike him but i think he does a fine job plus only 23 years old.
Thats all i can think of atm.
