Add a bit of Gray to the Premiership My agent is now contacting Grays Athletic board so we can discuss our contract terms. I will post news when my agent contacts me. Wish me luck | | | | 28-04-08, 10:03 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 227 Thanks: 1 Thanked 3 Times in 3 Posts | My agent had contacted me. We met Mr. Micky Woodward, chairman of Grays. We agree a 3 year deal of contract, until 30/06/2010. I will get 4900 € per month. Here's the flash press conference: Reporters: "What's the expectaction for the season with you in charge? " Me: "The expectactions are always big, we do not hide our ambition. But our ambition must be equalised or surpassed by our hard-work on the training and football field." Now I'm going to make a squad analysis and explain the tactical system I'm gonna use. It's a diferent tactic, created by me, but has given great results. On my way to the training ground to check who's worth it to make part of club's history. | | | | 28-04-08, 10:54 PM | #3 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 227 Thanks: 1 Thanked 3 Times in 3 Posts | 1: I noticed I don't have an assistant. I make an offer to a guy named Callum King, who has 16 in tactical training and 13 in discipline. Seems like a handy guy to be arround in the training facilities for this level. This is my actual squad: GK: OK. They will do RB: I will have to buy 1 more LB: it's OK CB: I'm Ok with CB's, so no need to buy more DM C1: Although Karl Murray is a right back, I think he fits better in the miedf. Ian Selley will bring experience to the squad in this position DM C2: Michael Standing has a good rating on long shots, so that saved his spot on the squad for this position. AM RC: Bodkin will do as a substitute, James Lawson will be the starter. AM/FC: Danny Kedwell seems to be the starter, and probably gonna be my goal scorer. AM LC: Neil Cafferty brings some good quality here. I might need one more. Gonna send Jack Olbester back into his club since I already have 2 players for the left back position. Althoug Mark Marshall is a pacey winger with decent crossing, he lacks on the technical abilities, so I will probably sell him. Jamie Day will also be sold, since I dont need more player for that position. Gavin Grant will be returned to his club, since I have more than enough plrs for his postion. Scott Taylor is off for sale too, as also Ben Watson and Aaron O'Connor After those players being sold, I might be on the market searching for a WB and a AMC Next: My tactical dispositon. | | | | 28-04-08, 11:21 PM | #4 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 227 Thanks: 1 Thanked 3 Times in 3 Posts | The tactical systems. My tactical systems might be a bit weird on the image, but they are amazingly effective. My tactical system construction was based on combining multiple football styles. The defence is always well connected with the miedfield, creating a dificult wall for the oponent to go throug. With low creativity orders in the key defensive roles, giving them a preference to use a direct pass so they can avoid being pressed hard and loose the ball, and at the same time, put the ball into the the for ward runs. The miedfield will be more positional than pressuring, so it can recovers the 2nd ball from the direct syle. The miedfielders will play it short, so that's when the fun begins. When formation with 2 strikers: When facing formations with 1 striker: Now moving on the transfer market. The Assistant Manger will not come unfortunately. Experienced Player 35 y.o. Aidan Newhouse Edit: Transfers: Another Scout appointed: Troy Cox. And that's enough for scouts. Scott Taylor was sold to Sutton UTD for 12k € Aaron O'Connor sold to Dorchester for 3k € Glad to announce a great hiring: Joel Kitamirike from Wimouth for 12K. A great right back. I asked for a feeder club Friendly Results: Grays 2 - 2 Aston Villa Reserves Although the result was pleasing, my team performance was not that good. A lot of dificulties when trying to keep the ball in our possesion. Hope this to be improved. Prescot Cables 2 - 3 Grays A disapointing game. I know it's a victory, but it's agains a team with no real players. I expect much more. Quom 2 - 3 Grays Another disapointing performance from my team, since the opponents deserved much better. Grays 0 - 1 Bournemouth A good defensive game by my team agains a Coca Cola League 1 oponent. Didnt created much chances, and suffered a goal on a set pieces. Not a bad try. Grays 1 - 1 Hartlepool Another good defensive game by my team against a Coca Cola League 1 oponent although my team were more efective. Kudos to my keeper, he saved a PK. Margate 1 - 0 Grays Shameful result, even using the substitutes on this game. I expected much more. Tactical preparation: Mediocre Friendly games exibitions: Mediocre Transfer Market: IN -> Aidan Newhouse AM / F LC , Joel Kitamirike D \ Wb R + 2 scouts OFF ->Scott Taylor and Aaron O'connor After a disapointing pre-season, I'm not very confident for the first half of the season. | | | | 29-04-08, 12:44 AM | #9 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 227 Thanks: 1 Thanked 3 Times in 3 Posts | Season Starts 1st game of the season: York (Home) York is one of the strongest teams of this division. They are expected to finish in 3rd by the press. Im expected to be at 15th. Since they play in a 442 formation, I'm gonna play a normal style. If I grab a goal, I go into a counter attack style. If I go 1 down I go into a control style. If there is 0-0, i change to attack in the last 5 mins. If i am down, ill change to ultra-attack in hte last 15 mins Let's see. Post-Match A terrible performance from my team ended in 0-2 lost. Next game, the strongest team of my division: Oxfrod Last edited by Kandinsky; 29-04-08 at 02:47 AM. | | | | 29-04-08, 01:28 AM | #10 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 227 Thanks: 1 Thanked 3 Times in 3 Posts | 2nd Game: Oxford (Away) They play a 442 Defensive, but I cant attack a team with their quality. Gonna try to make a good defensive game and wait for a chance. Post-Matched My team battled for the result, but lost 2-1. A good effort. As I predicted, this half-season will not be that good. Hope imrovements in 2/3 months Last edited by Kandinsky; 29-04-08 at 02:46 AM. | | | | 29-04-08, 01:46 AM | #11 (permalink) | | Scout For FMF's DB Update Join Date: Jan 2007 Posts: 227 Thanks: 1 Thanked 3 Times in 3 Posts | 3rd Game: Cambridge (H) In this game, since my team is not working well, gonna use a counter-attacking style and try to hit them on the break, With the help of the fans it might work. Post-Match Another poor performance from my team. 1 - 2 result. At least they fought a bit. His attributes seem very nice for this competition level. 6th Game Exeter (A) Pre-Match: Trying to use a counter-attack style. Post Match: 2 - 1 defeat, but a good exibition at least. I'm surprised with the team reaction 7th Game Crawley (A) Pre-Match In this game I'm gonna use a normal style, since it's a team of my league Post -Match 1 - 1 Nothing much to say, was a well balanced game, my players couldnt hold the advantadge, although the equaliser was by pk 8th Game Torquay (H) Pre-Match Gonna make a test here. Gonna play a normal style agains this team who is doing a great season. Gonna see if my boys had become man. Post-Match Paid the price for my arrogance. 1 - 4 Defeat. Dominated at all levels. New Kids on the block - 3 month loans Luke Steele GK from WBA Stefan Bailey MC from QPR Made those loans to add extra qulity to the team. I usually avoid loans, but it had to be. 9th game Farsley (A) Pre-Match Even match, gonna play a normal style. Post-Match A balanced game end on a 0-0 draw.
