Keep it up. You have 16 games left in the league and you can still grab automatic promotion. U're financially better off and try looking for free players.

We out played them all over the pitch but its the end product that we failed on. almost every shot went wide of the target or straight at the goalkeeper.

Managers Comments

We are still in second place which is a fantastic position to be in. All i hope for now is to get through via the playoffs but with the recent form we are very unlikely to go anywhere and we need some new faces in fast. Next month i hope that i can get some wins and hopefully bring us a guaranteed playoffs at least.

a lot can happen in 10 games lad, thats 30 points up for grabs and bury could easily have a dodgy patch! You should be guaranteed playoffs but its very tight if you get sucked back in by them, but i'm sure you won't. you've done a great job so far! Keep it up!

6-6...great result considering 4-0 down. your squad has some determination. Good luck in the next match against bury, a must win game! If you win it who knows, they might have a shaky end to the season. Looks like your peaking at just the right time. Well done

We got the result but it would have been different if they never had 10 men, also we missed a few easy chances and could have scored more.

Your new keeper looks ok (KArl Darlow) but I think you should've looked for a better keeper, but I dont think he will do well in League 2 if u were to be promoted.

May - End of Season Report

Blue Square Premier Playoff - Semi Final Leg 1

Match Odds: York: Evens (Fav) / Draw: 9-4 / Sutton United: 9-4

York 4 - 3 Sutton United

Man of Match: Craig Farrell - York - Rating 9

Managers Comments

We never deserved to win this game as the defence played very poor and we have to score at least a few goals in the second leg to have a chance as York are not an easy side to play.

Other Score:

Oxford 4 - 2 Torquay

Blue Square Premier Playoff - Semi Final Leg 2

Match Odds: Sutton United: 6-4 (Fav) / Draw: 2-1 / York: 13-8

Sutton United (6) 3 - 2 (6) York

Sutton United win on pens 4-2

Man of Match: Craig Farrell - York - Rating 9

Managers Comments

We done it by the penalty shootout which was after the nervey close game that we managed to put up a fight and we should have won without the aid of penalties.

Other Score:

Torquay (3) 1 - 2 (6) Oxford

Injury News

Junior Stanislas - Gashed Arm - 4 to 7 Days

Blue Square Premier Playoff - Final

Match Odds: Sutton United: 3-1 / Draw: N/A / Oxford: 4-5 (Fav)

Sutton United 3 - 3 Oxford

Sutton United win on pens 5-3

Man of Match: Malik Buari - Sutton United - Rating 8

Managers Comments

This was the decider of the season whether we stay in Blue Square Premier or move up into League 2. We played really well in the 90 mins and in injury time we just lost out to a slight fluke, but yet again we have shown our penalty taking skills. Its party time!

Coca-Cola League Two Promotion Odds

Shrewsbury have been made 6-4 favourites to gain promotion from the Coca-Cola League Two this season.

The rest of the main contenders are priced at 7-4 - Nottm Forest, 7-4 - Cheltemham, 7-4 - Oldham, 7-4 Crewe, 7-4 Halifax.

The bookmakers believing promotion for your team to be unlikely, their price of 40-1 seems to point more to the fact that your side should be concerned with avoiding relegation.
