Manager: Henian Su (Bowser) Transfer Budget: 21k Wage Budget: 8.1k (Currently Using 7.5k) Board Expectations: Mid Table Media Expectation: 16th out of 22nd Your Expectations: Top Half Of The Table
Pre Season Update Eastleigh 1-0 Slough Grantham 1-2 Eastleigh Eastleigh 0-2 Southampton Eastleigh 2-1 Haverfordwest Eastleigh 1-6 Man City Reserves
Not a bad pre season I suppose....we struggled in almost every friendly, with the opposition taking most of the possession.
Blue Square Promotion Odds!!! Havant&W, Braintree, Newport And Bishop Stortsford have been made 6-4 co favourites to gain promotion! Eastleigh are 40-1 and are favourites for relegation!
*Eastleigh Manager Henian Su buys £100 on Eastleigh...* The Media are always wrong >.<"
Andy Brady has been named Captain and Conor Larkin as Vice-Captain.
Finance are already in the red but I'm not at all surprised. We're using 7k on wages and IMO, thats way too much. I transfer listed half the reserves (its a big squad) Our coaching staff is crazy. I must get rid of them when I have the chance, but I'm not going to release them yet. I would have to pay them you see...With the transfer window closing soon, and having little budget left, I decided not to buy anymore players...
Transfers Tituhane Hlanze and Mkhawana are coming in once they turn 18 as they are not allowed to play abroad. (Can't wait :D)
EASTLEIGH 5-0 Bath Odds: Eastleigh: 6-4(Fav) Draw: 2-1 Bath: 13-8 Scorers: Larkin (17) Brady (pen 25, 44) Garry (82) English (pen 86) Injuries: Paul Alexander (LB)
This month sees 5 wins in 5 for Eastleigh, and they end up in 1st place. New Signing left back Paul Alexander will be out for a month.
Conor Larkin has been named Player of the Month for August in, scoring an incredible 6 goals from 5 games as a centre back (all from corners) He is also top of the goalscoring chart, I scoop the Manager of the Month for August.
Everything looks well for us. The only thing I am slightly concerned is our finance, which is now -20k. If I'm not wrong, by the end of season, we will probably be around -150k. However, I decided not to renew half the players contracts (mainly reserves) so our wage budget will lower..
All in all, this month has been fantastic. September awaits us...
We need to sort out away form, it is terrible. Although we won all our away games so far, the opponent is always all over us. We're pretty lucky to go home drawing let alone a win. Anyone got any ideas for me to stop thje opponent getting too much possession and shots?
Board Confidence Competition: Satisfied Finance: Satisfied (wtf??) Signings: Very Pleasing Matches: Satisfied Players: Pleased with majority of the players performance. Overall: Satisfied with my management of my team. Fans think Sean Adams is an extremely good signing. However my decision to sign Johnny Nixon is regarded as a aberration.
I totally disagree about Johnny Nixon, he's been fantastic so far...as for Sean Adams, he hasn't been THAT great. Surely Larkin gets a mention for all those goals as a centre back? 11 games unbeaten so far...
Somehow I got Blue Square South Manager Of The Month Award For September...thats my second award in 2 months. We have been drawed at home againest Gosport or Bath in the FA Cup 3rd Qualifying Round. Not a bad draw IMO.
Bishop's Stortford 0-2 EASTLEIGH Scorers: Morrow (32) Larkin (83) Info: We did much better in the final ten minutes as Bishop used all their substitute and their striker gets injured!
EASTLEIGH 2-1 Hampton & Richmond Scorers: Larkin (68) Garry (88) Info: An inspring team talk in the second half, shows Eastleigh much more determined and Larkin equilized with his 7th goal of the season. Substitue Jamie Garry scores the winning goal.
Maidenhead 1-1 EASTLEIGH Scorers: Brown (2) Info: Jamie Brown scores an early goal for Eastleigh. Manny Williams then scores a equilizer to deny Eastleigh's 8th win in a row.
EASTLEIGH 4-2 Cambridge City Scorers: Larkin (57) English (pen 64) Garry (85) Brown (87) Info: Cambridge City were demolished in a a match that had 6 goals. This is the 4th match Eastleigh had scored 4 or more in a Home game.
Bromley 1-1 EASTLEIGH Scorers: Brady (90) Info: Andy Brady scores a last minute free kick to deny Bromley ending Eastleigh's unbeaten run.
EASTLEIGH 3-1 Welling Scorers: St'Juste (23) Riviere (71) Garry (84) Info: Riviere scores on his league debut to give Eastleigh 3 points. Welling misses a penalty but they make up for scoring a consolation.
EASTLEIGH 2-1 Carshalton Scorers: St'Juste (25) Harris (89) Info: The game should've been easy, but Carshalton gave Eastleigh a scare by scoring first. Eastleigh then came back to win to book a place in the next round.
Nice to see Andy Morrow in your team performing!!! He's is a quality player and has just won fans player of the season two years running for me!! kutgw
The Following User Says Thank You to logomofobognor For This Useful Post:
Yeah, he hasnt been scoring, but hes been assisting and setting up team mates instead xD....I think he will do well, although it could be better if he scored more....my target man is scoring more.
Your doin quality mate...few of my best mates play for Eastliegh, Adam Roberts,Jack Smith get them in the side lol
Thanks. I live in Southampton, which is why I picked Eastleigh. I catch the number 2 to swaythling, near my skl st george, and sometime i see a few U18s from Eastleigh. Update coming tonight.
Dorchester 2-5 EASTLEIGH Scorers: Morrow (9) Brown (43) Larkin (52) Bowles Own Goal (55) Riviere (75) MOM: Jamie Brown (EASTLEIGH) Sent Off: Brady (63) 2 Yellow Card Dorchester went down to 10 men before half time, giving Eastleigh an advantage. Eastleigh then went down to 10 men, allowing Dorchester to pull 2 back late on.
Dorchester 2-3 (AET) EASTLEIGH (Setana Shield) Scorers: Hann (12, 62) Morrow (115) MOM: Matt Hann (EASTLEIGH) Injury: Brown (8) Sent Off: Cumming (110, Dorchester) Dorchester came back from 2 down to force the match into extra time. However, Dorchester went down to 10 men when Cumming got sent off and Eastleigh were too much for Dorchester, as Morrow scored the winning goal.
EASTLEIGH 2-0 Gosport (FA Cup 3rd Qual.Rnd) Scorers: Larkin (56, 63) MOM: Conor Larkin (EASTLEIGH) Eastleigh were never in danger as they beat Gosport 2-0 thanks to two corner goals from Conor Larkin. They are now through to the 4th Qual.Rnd of the FA Cup.
EASTLEIGH 4-1 Fisher Athletic Scorers: Beaney (og.60) Riviere (64) Garry (70) Harris (82) MOM: Andy Harris (EASTLEIGH) Injury: Graham (56) Garry (87) A great come back from 1-0 down within 3 minutes to win 4-1, which means we have yet again scored 4 goals in a home game. The game only disappointment were injuries to main player Mark Graham and Jamie Garry, who has been on excellent form 6 goals as a sub.
Lewes 0-1 EASTLEIGH Scorers: None MOM: Gareth Grant (Lewes) Lewes were all over us and I definately need to do something about the away tactic. This defeat means Eastleigh's unbeaten run has finally ended.
Farnborough 1-1 EASTLEIGH (FA Cup 4th Qual.Rnd) Scorers: Morrow (21) MOM: Diarmuid Fitzpartick (Farnborough) Our away form has slightly improved, but the shots they had was ridiculously high and we must do something about it.
EASTLEIGH 3-1 Farnborough (FA Cup 4th Qual.Rnd Replay) Scorers: Shaw (og.6) Brown (34) Brady (69) MOM: Andy Brady (EASTLEIGH) Eastleigh remain unbeaten at home as they progress to the FA Cup 1st Round for the first time in their 27 years of history.
Manager Views: I'm delighted with the progress in the FA Cup but I'm not too happy with our away form. Although we only saw one defeat, our away form is terrible and need to improve.
PS: This guy looks amazing, wonder if he would come to me though???
