Default Aston Villa Team
I recently took over a Under-achieving Aston Villa side who are 14th in the table having played 25 games.

My Assistant manager suggest this is my best team

Scott Carson - GK - **** (4 star)
Sergey Ignashevich - DR - *** (3 star)
Wilfred Bouma - DL - **** (4 star)
Zat Knight - DC - **** (4 star)
Olof Mellberg - DC - **** (4 star)
James Milner - AMR - ***** (5 star)
Ashley Young - AML - *** (3 star)
Gareth Barry - MC - ****** (6 star)
Nigel Reo-Coker - MC - ***** (5 star)
Vagner Love - SC - ****** (6 star)
Luis Garcia - SC - *** (3 star)

I play a 4-2-2-2 formation with the 2 attacking wingers.

I would like to know what you could recommend to me as in new players which would want to join my team. Im in the 1st season btw. I have 30mil to spend.
Also any different formations which would benefit my team, thanks

Think your best bet is the usual suspects to be honest. Players like Breno and Banega are good ones to get early on, maybe look at strikers like Klasnic and Stancu. Hedwiges Maduro at Ajax is a fantastic DM, and Gabriel Torje develops into a world class winger.
