So I was nearing the end of my 4th season with Sunderland, I'd secured a top half finish as the board had expected, made the semi-finals of the FA cup and League Cup and got beat of Arsenal and Chelsea respectively. I'd also made the Semi Final of the EURO cup having qualified by getting to the final of the FA cup the previous season.

A tie against Sevilla in the semi, I was expecting a tough two legs, but I went to through to the final, winning 6-2 on aggregate. Celtic in the final, and an easy 2-0 win. I was over the moon!

My contract at the Stadium of Light was coming to an end and seeing I had won a major competition and secured European football for a second season in a row I believed a new contract would be offered, I was wrong.

I was not offered a new contract and Sven the Swede was my replacement. I could not believe it! What more did I have to do to impress the board!

Anyway, I was offered the Man City job which I turned down, waiting a decision from Everton over my job application, all of a sudden AC Milan come in for me, not complaining, I took the job without much consideration.

I will miss the Premier League but looking forward to Milan. I've never played the Italian League, any tips?

You'll have to get some screenies of the sunderland team if you won 6-2 on agg against sevilla.If you want tips for AC just try getting replacing some of the older players and try get a few wonderkids. Keep us updated

Screenies mate or it didnt happen :P;) I personally don't enjoy games in either the Spanish leagues or the Itallian leagues, but everyone is defferent

I'm afraid I got myself a little confused, I didnt beat Sevilla 6-2, it was 4-3, I'd won a match around the time 6-2 and everything had become a blur.

Anyway, I finished the first season with AC and very disappointing it was, finished 3rd in the league but made a good effort and only finished 3 points behind the winners, Inter Milan.

Champions League, knocked in the first knockout round by Chelsea and the last chance to get some silverware - the Final of the Italian Cup but beat 2-0 off Juventus.

Was offered a contract extension at the end of the season though :D

Signed some decent players over the summer, in desperate need of a left back!
