For the first time in any football management game, I've decided to go for a club in the Dutch leagues. I've chosen Heerenveen. Heerenveen are in the UEFA Cup at the moment. I've got some good young talent in the squad, such as Arjen Bergsma, a goalkeeper who is 18. My first season could be a bit difficult, with only £2.8m to spend on players. The media is predicting Heerenveen will finish 5th. I seriously doubt we'll win the Eredivise, and I'm aiming for at least a UEFA Cup spot in the league this season. We really need new players if we are to put pressure on PSV, Ajax and AZ Alkmaar and grab that Champions League spot.

I really enjoy the dutch league too except for the end bit which gets a little confusing. Try to pick up some younger bargains mate, maybe look in the wonderkids section, then over the next season you may be able to mount a serious challenge on the dutch title.
