Your Player Of The Year: Joleon Lescott - Lescott hardly missed a game for me and he was a consistant performer, hardly ever having a bad game. Transfers In: Steven Smith (£3m from Rangers), Alex Fernandez (Free from Coslada), Joloen Lescott (£9m from Everton), Fabricio Coloccini (£7.5m from Deportivo), Valeri Bojinov (£6.26m from Man City), Peter Crouch (Loan from Liverpool). Best Buy: Valeri Bojinov - Filled the spot left by Owen really well. Was just 5 goals short of Michael's tally. Transfers Out: Mark Cook (Released), James Taylor (Released), Shola Ameobi (£4m to Tottenham), Darren Lough (£30k to Darlington), David Edgar (£1.6m to St. Etienne), Alex Fernandez (Loan to Bristol City), Stephen Carr (£650k to Aston Villa), Andy Carroll (£4m to Q.P.R), Michael Owen (£20m to Inter), Jose Enrique (£7.5m to West Ham). Best Sale: Michael Owen - I really wasn't expecting to get that much out of Inter so it turned out to be a good bit of business. Especially when Michael hit a bad patch and struggled to find the net. Reflection: Champions League football beckons the club for the first time since 2003 and the first trophy since 1969's UEFA Cup arrived at St. James' Park so all in all it's been a good season. Nice stuff mate, ill have to top you which i dont think i will lol. I have'nt really made many signings in defence lol all offence top scoring team in prem lol. Anyways im 2nd atm but im just hoping a top 4 or top 6 finish. |

To be fair, I didn't expect to get a Champions League spot but Arsenal and Liverpool both had a really awful season which allowed Man City and myself to sneak in and take 3rd and 4th respectively. |

ooo can understand 20 million is quite a lot but in my other game he got the top scorer of premiership and i wouldnt of sold for less then 27 hehe :P thats just me though

So far this season, Bojinov has got 12 goals in 15 games.  Shay Given's playing better this season as well. Last season he conceded 53 in 46 games. This season he's conceded 10 goals in 16 games. But there is a long way to go yet. |

Really like the detailed report , and congratulations on reaching 4th and winning the FA Cup. Also made some great signings, though only god knows why Spurs wanted Ameobi for £4M  Hope you do well next season, and I'm looking forward to hearing more  |

I was going to do a story to accompany it but I thought that would take too long so I decided to just do a yearly report accompanied by screenshots. Oh and I have no idea why Spurs signed Ameobi. They used him a couple of times and now he's on the transfer list! |

Well done in the league, unlucky for not clinching the title!
You must be gutted after coming unbelievably close to the Champs League, you need to shoot Crouch!
Especially after you best United and Real and then lost to Porto!
Hopefully you can push on next year to take the CL and the Prem!
