So heres the plan,I bring Mozambique to somewere on the footballing map,although its not that easy. So will "we" qualify for a least the 2012 Africa Cup Of Nations. Im brought in and Mozambique have a small chance of getting tehre for 08's tournament,it actualy ooks pretty easy from the group,but Tanzania hae got the pushovers that are CAR in a game which they are sure to win,so we will have to beat the superior Tanzania. Lets hope for 2010,ey. Listing through the so called potential i was exposed to i came across one player to rip through Tanzania',Tico-Tico of Orlando Pirates. Its 5:00am so i should get some sleep. Thanks people,well the squad selection day is upon us and ive made the team my own,nobodys safe unless there giving me 100%(and dont get me started on W.A.G.S ;) ). Dario is my only injury worry but he will be a blow. 35 year old uncapped Jorge Vulande Mavo is brought to the fore. My first game is a friendly against American Samoa,then I have to jet home for a hard game against Bolivia. In the 32 minute the deadlocks broken...American Samoa dont know what happened to their defence as Tico-Tico wheels away. The players go in at the break pleased with theirselves but as I ring home to find out the score in the game in hand Tanzania have its 1-0 to the Tanzanians,putting us 3 points behind Tanzania going into the last game of the qualifiers,Mozambique vs. Tanzania,problem is we have to maul better opposition to get through. Not only do we go on to draw 1-1 against worse oppositon, Tanzania win 3-0 making qualification nearly impossible.
