BREAKING NEWS
Temporary Tottenham Hotspur manager, Juande Ramos has left the North London side, and returned to Spain, after Daniel Levy and the Spurs board made a shock placement, by appointing rookie manager Tom Hooper at the helm of White Hart Lane. Ramos had been hoping for a permanent appointment, after the departure of fans' favourite Martin Jol in July. Ramos had bought a new fitness regime to the club, and he was the bookies favourites for the permanent job. However, Hooper who has managed previously at Peterborough United and Stevenage Borough, joined Tottenham in a shock appointment, after being without a club for 3 months.
Levy has already made his indications clear to Hooper, aged 15, by telling him he expects a title challenge within 2 years. Tottenham are firmly establishing theirselves as the favourites to break into the Big Four, and in a season which marks their 125th Anniversary, this could well be the year to do it!
Hooper has also stated his intentions, and has been rewarded with a transfer budget believed to be around £20M for the Summer, after claiming that he was ready to mount a serious title challenge this season! Hooper is expected to be active in the transfer market, and the Spurs' fans will be waiting on some big name signings this Summer.
