In real life Werder Bremen are a strong Team 2nd in the Bundesliga, but what I saw while playing my loved gunners ignited a fire in my heart. The first season Allofs their manager managed to get sacked and they ended just outside the relegation zone.
Diego their starplayer looked to move on but the next manager managed to move them up to midtable.
The second Season didnt go to well either and end of the Season Diego moved to AS Roma and he managed to sell a lot of their good players and they escaped relegation simply due to their goal difference.
I started watching the situation and they started of the new season at the bottom of the table loosing their first 3 games.

Then it was time, their New Manager took place.

Being at the bottom of the table, missing a lot of their power I found a Quest, I want to bring Werder Bremen back to its former Glory!

My first Game in Charge would be against....FC Bayern Munich..
A strong opponent.
I looked at my Team and was stunned, I had 4 Days to get this bunch of youngsters and elderly players in top form to meet up for the Challenge.

I decided to go fo a 4-4-2 Diamond to start of with but to switch to a counterattacking 4-1-2-2-1 Style after halftime.

To strenghten my Squad I decided to quickly snatch Andreas Ottl on a Free as my assistant thought the midfield is our weak point.

As I got a friend in Germany he suggested Marko Marin is a rising star and I got him for 4.2 Millions of Murcia which he had moved to from Germany.
I loaned Ayew as I always wanted to see what the legends son is like and to see his potential (though he got shocking stats...)

Michel Bastos was eager to join Werder after I handed out 8.5 Million to Lille.
Being as scared as I was I spend most of my money and was left with 500k.
I hoped my team could handle mighty Bayern Munich being top of the table having strengthend their side additionally with Ricardo Montolivo making my team looking cheap.

The Game started of badly, Toni managed to score after 5 mins but we managed to hold them back and Marko Marin made his first appearance and minutes later scoring an equaliser with a header!
The draw gave me some confidence and I send out my scouts to find some youngsters which could be usefull in my further campaign.

I rotated around giving my new signings time to gel in with the team and I got some good as well as some bad results:

Stuttgart 1:4 Werder
Werder 2:1 Wolfsburg
Werder 1:0 Nürnberg

Marin showed a lot of potential and Chelsea made an offer for him which my board accepted. Lucky enough Marin did not want to leave so soon after his arrival and I could go on to benefit from his talents.
Meanwhile Cavani will join Benfica for 11.75 Million and Pisculichi will join Mainz 05 for 1.8 Mill. I hope that my scouts will bring me some good news so I get some good investments at this point.

Germancup:

Werder vs. Bayer 04 Leverkusen

I wasnt confident all game long...Bayer controlled the game but my counterattacking style managed to be to quick for them, Klasnic slotted 2 past them and my fans were pleased with the result.

Werder 2:2 Rostock

at this Point I managed to move up to 5th place, 9 Points behind Bayern Munich which were topping the table.

I needed to play Bayer 04 Leverkusen now, I used the same players and same strategy but this time Sanogo got injured 3 mins in the game and my reserve striker was Ayew. His finishing was awful, he missed the open goal twice and I was crushed.

My good run continued and I have found myself at third Position for the Winterbreak. Marin is doing well as well as Bastos keep on scoring and getting high ratings.
The January Transfer Window just opened and I signed Genero Zeefuik, and I hope to sign Dul Malul (young israeli ,very versatile wonderkid bags of potential imo) and Bojan from Barca! He is fed up not getting enough money and playtime at Barca and so far I made the only offer.
Then I got Arsenals Thiago (young Brazilian MR) on Loan and he scored 2 in a friendly and Pedro assisted him. Looks like a nice partnership so far.

@Josh: I had a look at Agouda but he wasnt interested in joining T.T

So I decided to go on for a bit and now its the 6th of March....

I managed to get Agouda though he will join me end of the season.

During the Winterbreak I had a friendly :

Werder Bremen 2:1 Freiburg

Thiago scored in the first 5 Minutes and then released a great through ball in the last 5 Minutes for Klasnic to score the winning goal.

Then I had my Cupgame against Duisburg currently being 2nd in the 2nd Divison which ended shocking.

Though I sent out my first XI I didnt manage to make an impact. Thanks to the former manager and the incredibly bad performance of my team in this Match, I was out of all Cup competitions and my hope for Silverware is gone....Bayern still beeing ahead by 10 Points and unbeaten so far...

The League continues, the fans expressed extreme concern of my two brazilians Pedro and Thiago and started to put me under extreme Pressure.

Werder 0:0 Freiburg... I noticed the Moral in the Squad was falling and asked Frings to get the motivation back up in the Squad and call up a meeting. The Meeting was said to be successfull. Though beeing 7th right now (1 Point beeing between 7th and 3rd) the fans were getting on my back and the board were said to issue me an ultimatum.

I hoped my players would perform better in the next Match as I knew that I will bring them to win Cups later at this stage it was import to stay up.
there are 13 Games to go so there is still room for improvement.

Werder 5:2 Hoffenheim... shocking performance from my second keeper but Marin, Sanogo and Bastos (who has turned out a incredible signing) pay back quickly and we win the game.

Werder 2:1 HSV ..the fans were pleased beating HSV 2:1 as they are rivals. I decided to terminate Thiagos Loan as beating HSV was the only pluspoint according to the Monthly Report. Pedro has improved but he is still learning at this point.

I decided to move Zeefuik to my U23 and literally send them onto a south america tour playing the teams there and keep them busy. So far he has scored 9 in 21 games which isnt that bad yet.

Now I had the game against Bayern...

Werder 1:2 Bayern...couldnt help it...their squad was just 2 good...
Werder 3:2 Cottbus, good performance...still 3rd but I need one Point to be 2nd.

Finally finished the season with a dissapointing 4th place but still kept the fans happy enough. Managed to get Steve Mandanda as my next Keeper Backup for Wiese. Hoping Agouda and my Youngsters will be able to help me challenge for the Title.... My transfer budget is a minor 600k....

Will report back when the season restarts.

Wow quite some time since my last update.
I have strenghtened my Bremen Team with some more signings and hope to finish top 3. (Had a bad first half but I believe that I can turn things around now)

First my loan signing of Nacer Barazite who has allready gathered 9 Goals as a Striker and 2 Assists in 17 Games,
Floro Flores for 10 Million from Palermo...has scored 6 in 3 (got injured)
and last but not least Willian for 12.5 Million.
Per Mertesacker joined R.Madrid for 30 Million and 50% of his next fee....

The Team has got a good start hope to add some screenshots if some ppl encourage me 2, got 6 straight wins now lost thought to Sampdoria in the UEFA Cup and now I only got the League Cup & the League to win.

I would hope you might have some suggestions to help me out because I fear I might get sacked end of the season if I cant finish top 3 (I am supposed to challenge for the title...)

My main problem is my teams away form...LLLDL, while my Home Form is solid...WWWWW

any encouraging words or help?
