Bristol City to the Prem! - FMFormation.net - Football Manager

Well I decided Bristol City would be a good challenge and they are high flying in the Championshop irl so i thought id give it a go.

Just a few facts before i get started.

Did you know Bristol City are planning to build a new 35,000 seat stadium which could be increased to 40,000 if the World Cup is in England in 2018.

Leroy Lita, Golbourne and Rosenior all come from Bristol City.

Anyway to the point.

I started with some farely average pre season results few wins and a few draws. Here are the results:

Going into detail a bit more; The first game my team didnt play to well and i only just grabbed an equaliser in the last few mins.

My second game i wanted some Christmas cake so i went on holiday and my ass did well and one of my youngsters Myrie-Williams did well scoring 2 goals.

My third game it was 1-1 at HT at my team wernt playing well but after HT they played there hearts out and i won the game 4-1.

The fourth game i couldnt be botherd and went on holiday my assitant did do to well that time.

My fifth and final game was basicly won by Zeefuik with him having scored his first goal after 6 minutes and his hatrick after 66. Cambridge missed a pen and EL Zhah scored in his first game for the club.

I signed a few people for the future and a couple of older players. The one who stood out the most is Zeefuik who scored a hatrick in his one and only game. Here are the Tranfers:

Zeefuik is probably the best buy of the lot, but he is more for the future. Alot of the players were brought in through my knowdledge and players that had been suggested to me. Golbourne was brung back to his home town and hopefully he can do well for me. Over all i was farely please with my signings i could have done with an extra CB but i dont have the money to no so will have to make do.

Lee Trundle didnt stand out during pre season i dont even no if he scored hopefully this will change during the season, i hope so for my highest valued player.

good luck with your challenge, hopefully you can succeed int he first season or 2 :)
for some players, i dont know if theyll be good enough now but they will be by 3rd/4th season:
alex fernandez, gustavo pinedo, charles andre doudin, ashley chambers, scott donnelly, lauri dalla valle, shelton martis, alain pierre baclet, rocky lekaj, andrea gaspari, andre kilian, toni gange and rudolph austin :)

Sort of a change of plan, im going to start with Ipswich so im making a new one, this one will be in more detail and better layed out. Thanx for comments so far btw. And thanks for the list of players note i cant find quite a few due to not having large DB.
