The Journey Begins Here!

As my last game got currupt :( I wanted to start again with the same goals started of as an unknown manager and over the years become a world class manager ;D by starting at the bottom and working ur way up to the top :)

So here is the start of the of my journey to glorly ;P
Harrogate Town

Harrogate Town is a small North Yorkshire semi-professional club playing its trade in the Blue Square North.It was founded in 1914 and played under the name of Harrogate AFC until 1948 it was renamed Harrogate Town.They have played thare home games in Wetherby Road since 1920.its a small ground with a capacity of 3800 (450 seated).

Harrogate Town is one of the Founder members of the Conference North Football League back in 2004 now known as the Blue Square North.Three years in the league and they have been close to getting promotion in every season 2004/05 6th 2005/06 5th 2006/07 6th,last season they made it to the semi final of the playoffs.They have last won a trophy in 2002/03 West Riding Country Cup and there fans are waiting for another cup to be added to the collection.They have only once reached the F.A.Cup proper back in 2004 were they beaton by Torquay united on peno's in a replay.

Here are the players that i believe can gain promotion to the Blue Square Premier.Most of my team loans from bigger clubs :D

Its the harder of the two leagues and has some very good teams in it all capable to win the league

Just as a bit of fun i got this picture to see how far my team has to travel for away games :D

I had a choice between Sheff Wed and Rochdale.After looking at there teams I pick Sheff Wed because they had young players for loan and gave me more money every year too :D

Transfer Centre

i have made a lot of very good loan signings and 1 or 2 good perament signings hopefully to win me promotion

Rocky Lekaj

as soon as Sheff Wed were announced as my parent club they sent down this young AMRL and what a playere he is for this level :D

Robert Bayly

A very good CM on loan of leeds another reason why i got him is that he is my mates nephews cousin and used to live around where i do :D:D

Liam McMenamin

a young CB who plays for Sheff Wed too

Dean Oliver

A good young ST

I know i gave a lot of info about the club but i think if u know about the club it make the game more enjoyable and fun to play :D

Half way through the season report :D

Im into jan and im a very happy manager so far.im settled into the club and know my team very well now ;)
Im a happy manager because we are 4th in the league a just 1 point of from top spot :D

We got off to a slow start but got to grips very soon and start to climb the table looking for promotion either winning or pay-offs :D

AFC Telford vs Harrogate Town

This is the game that started a good run in the league :D. down to 10 men and it was only 1-1 at that point my team turn up a gear and cruzed to victory :D

Danny Holland

The main reason im doing so well in the league is because of Danny Holland :D he has netted 26 goals in 29 app for the club and doesn't look like stopping to be honest :D. he is the fans favour player and i can see why ;)

Klye Letheran

I got klye on loan for 3 months and he has been a excellent GK for us so far :D when his loan was up i asked to extend it for another 3 months and he agreed :D he is a very good /gk for this level :D

Finances

Harrogate is a small club only worth 70k at start now worth 85k :). the finances have been great and kept getting beter and better by the month :D

With a bit of luck they might release him, happens quite often. Then u can snap him up on a free transfer :)

Semi-Finals Play-Offs First Leg

Semi-Finals Play-Offs Second Leg

I went into the play-offs confident of winning promotion to the blue square premier but i was soon brough back down to earth after the first game away i gainsborough with a 2-0 lose.we were never at the game that day and i could count ourself luck it wasn't more the 2-0.So the 2nd leg was at home and i said to my players u can win today and they started off well.as soon as i new it i was 4-0 up 4-2 on agg :D:D.they grabbed a goal and another soon after it which tied it up on agg 4-4 :(.and then we went down to 10 men so extra time followed.they grabbed another goal and missed a peno to go 2 in front on agg and i had a goal dissallowed soon after that and then we went down to 9 men and it was all over. i have to say it was a cracker of a match but i would loved to have gotten true to the finals.

I came 2nd for the manager of the Year :D

Danny Holland had a very good year and came 2nd for the player of the year :D

Danny holland and dean oliver got nearly all the goals for my team with a few coming from midfielders :D

Second Season 08/09

So its my second year as manager of Harrogate Town

The club has almost double in value since ive took charge back in june 07, mainly to do with the good campain last year finishing 2nd in the league and a good run in the cups.

i have too years left on my contract and im going to see out the two remaining years out and hopefully lead harrogate town to history as winners of the blue square north

So another year in the blue square north and we are 6/4 to win promotion to go up.kettering and boston united are my main rivals for the league this year

Tranfers in/out

as u saw in the team i have a few lads on loan for another year and have bought in a few more players to strenghten my team for promotion challenge.i have got rid of some of the dead wood in the team :D. i have a new ass manager too ;P

The fans are happy with the players staying onloan another year and with the new players i brought in :D

Ah yeah how did i nearly forget :P
here are they friendlys i played this year i say no more :P

Transfers

Got rid of a lot of dead wood in the team and brang in a few players in to cover :D

Came on loan from Sheff Wed and has been my main goal-scorer all season

League Table

A good start to the season and we were 1st by 10 games then we went on a down hill spiral :( got knock out of the FA Cup in the 2nd qual rd by ossett town for the second year running :(. got knock out of the setanta cup too and we drop down to 8th in the league :( but we are steady climbing back up the table.im still in the FA Trophy just won newport county :)
