i created a new game using the free agent database. my intention was to see if this would change who the best teams were, and also to see if players who had been loyal to clubs all their life (giggs, scholes, neville etc) would stick with their old clubs or go somewhere new. i started off unemployed as i wanted it to be completly done by AI.
The first season was won by chelsea, who had a very solid team, consisting of kaka, gerrard, lampard, shevchenko, henry, terry, ferdinand etc.
my first job was england job. 3 games left in euro 08 qualifications and i managed to get a solitary point. so, just like in real life, england failed to qualify.
alongside the england job, i got the wigan job for the last 8 or so games in the 2nd season. had a great start drawing at old trafford before losing a couple. two 4-1 and one 6-1 wins kept wigan in the premiership, but i was forced to resign after applying for the arsenal job.
the next season has been amazing for england. started off the year ranked 13th in the world, but have gone unbeaten all year (in august now) beating brazil 3-1 on the way.
was offered the man city job, which i took. have bought a couple of young guns my scouts recommended from the u-21 champs, and a couple from africa. my first friendly was a shocker, losing 3-0 to benfica even tho i was all over them. hopefully this season will be a successful one for me
