I really just posted this to complain about bloody Valerenga... My Vikes are double Tippeligaen champs and just made it to the Champions League knockout round after placing second in their group (after HSV and ahead of Milan and Barcelona) and Valerenga just knocked me out of the Royal Cup for the second year running, and have also won the NM Cupen two years straight (yep, both my losses to Valerenga).
Fuck you, Valerenga.
I've retained most of the original defense, although Damian Bellon is making a strong claim for a regular place. Add in a couple of Canadian forwards (Gerba and Occean) and Chrys and Branamir Kostadinov (hella young squad!) and I'm not having a happy time juggling foreigners around, except in the CL matches. =) Sometimes I wish I was coaching in Russia.
Funnily enough I got rid of Nicolai Stokholm cos he was bitching about playtime, and now he's talking about moving to a bigger club for trophies! Sorry, bud, you can't come back. You ain't good enough for Tippeligaen champs, good luck maybe in Denmark or something.
