Well I started a game as Newcastle on my updated 7.0.0 (English transfers done, other major transfers done, finances copied from bozza's db). Asked for more money and was given $AU122mil (50mil pounds)

Aim for the season: Top 6

Obviously Newcastle have some great strikers so I didn't need to invest too much there. Defense was the major issue with only Steven Taylor and maybe David Rozehnal up to standard.

Off season signings:



With Dan Agger on his way for $AU19mil in January, Pique (22mil) and Sunny (7mil) next summer. Delighted to get Akinfeev as well.



Duff and N'Zogbia were surplus to requirements after the signings of Drenthe, Esparza and Guardado. Milner isn't up to the standard I require and Given's sale funded half of the Akinfeev signing.

So this is my usual starting XI:



Had a great start with 7 wins and 5 draws from the first 12 games before losing to top side Man City. After 15 games:



Since that I've won 2 and lost 1 to be sitting 3rd after 18 rounds. Just hoping to stay in the top 6 for the rest of the season...

Not bad at all aus mate that is a god damn impressive team and shouldnt have trouble if you can keep the bulk of the squad fit Good luck and KUTGW

Martins, Owen and Smith all got injuredin one week so now I have to play Sibierski who hasn't played a game all year. Need some luck.

I'm playing Lima at CM, i dont play him as playmaker but he gets twice as many passes as anyone else in the team. Scores the occasional goal. Should improve a lot with age.

Next 2 results were:

Man City 1 - 0 Newcastle after I dominated, especially the first half. Missing my top 3 strikers cost me.

Newcastle 1 - 1 Liverpool last minute goal as always. Sibierski can't finish!!

There goes my title hopes. Now just trying to hold on for 4th spot, 3 pts ahead of Chelsea.

Struggled towards the end of the season with injury problems and tough games.

Man Utd 0 - 4 Newcastle (FA Cup Semi)
Newcastle 2 - 2 Arsenal
Chelsea 5 - 4 Newcastle (a rediculous game, they scored 4 from 30 yards)

I was now 1 point ahead of Chelsea, me 4th, them 5th, with 2 games remaining.

Newcastle 1 - 2 Portsmouth (first time I've been completely outplayed all year) Chelsea drew 1-1 with Man Utd so we were level on points but my GD was 20 better. A win would secure me a top 4 spot.

Derby 0 - 5 Newcastle
My poor form was a thing of the past :D Eddie Johnson hitting a hattrick. Finished in 4th spot with Man City winning the EPL 6 pts ahead of me.

FA Cup Final

Newcastle 2 - 1 Liverpool

My first ever FA Cup win :D And my fans love me. Prize money is only 2mil though :( I expected more lol

Now I'm going into the off season and I have 20mil in the transfer kitty. Pique and Sunny are already on there way so I need some suggestions for squad improvements. I might just spend it all on 1 or 2 players. I'm considering Sneijder and Zigic at the moment.
