Right, just starting second season now. The League Cup was very dissapointing. We just scraped through against Schalke on pens in the quarter final and got Dortmund in the semi. We were totally out-classed throughout the game, and should count ourselves lucky that it only finished 4-2. I believe this happened because my players seem to enjoy doing tree impressions, instead of actually tackleing the opposition.
So ive gone back in the market and got another defender, Sedar Tasci from Stuttgart.
I had too many midfielders, and i play quite defensive, and i spent 9 million on Kevin-Prince Boateng, so someone had to go, and Diego moved to Barcelona for 19 million. It's a risk know, but i need the cash to buy Tasci.
I also tried to get our stadium expanded, but the council turned down planning permission! So ill try again in a couple of months.

Well, at the mid season break in second season. And it aint good. We've settled into a win one, lose one pattern. Our away form is shocking. It hasn't been helped by international matches on the same day as a league match, which means i had to put youngsters/grey players in!
We're in the German Cup 3rd round against Aachen (should win, but who knows)
Qualified second in the Champions League groups, so i hope we can do something there.
I want to strenghen my defence again in january, but i only have 12 million. My main target is Castro from Leverkusen.

you can do it mate just need to get out of your win 1 lose 1 pattern and you should be forever leading bayern once you get out of that patch like you say internationals dont help |

You would think the league games would'nt be on if there is international games on the same day, oh well, hope ya catch Bayern mate!

I cant believe it, I've somehow managed to win 4 in a row (bad omen). We got knocked out against Aachen in the cup. But got drawn against Sevilla in the Champions League, which aint too bad. Injuries continue to hit hard, but the extra squad players I bought in January are helping a lot.
To answer your question Saschal, i dont use a playmaker, most of my play goes through D'Alessandro, who i play in AM (I play 3-2-2-1-2 wingbacks).
