I have been just playing around and free spending on people like Allback, Dahlberg and Lucas as you can see on the Transfer Ins on my second season.. how did you not win the league in 1st season? lyon have by far the strongest team in france. I wouldnt of sold tiago, malouda or Cris to be honest either that may of cost you a fair few points in the league.
Lucas is an extremely good buy, not so sure about your other signings though, i feel you may need another strong CB, but apart from that you should win the league with the squad you have. |

hummm i would definatly not sold ben afra as hes turns quality, in my opinion you should of won the league easy but you have sold quality players and not brought enough strength in at all, eric abidal could of also been a bad sale. The good point is lucas came in who is good but you need more top players to boost the squad. keep it going and try not to sell the best players before buying back up |

Well.. I have been playing and Lyon has been under achieving and such... But out of the blew River Plate comes out and approaches me... They are also under achieving and looking for a new boss...

Ok. My second season with Lyon ended as a disaster. I finished 8th. And Paris won Ligue 1 again a back to back effort on them. So during the summer transfer I revamped my team somewhat again in a year.
Checked out Juninho profile and it said He dislikes Fred and Lucas. Yeah you get the picture. I sold Kallstrom and Toulalan to Ajax for about 13.75 million and 15 million respectfully. Fred left to Hamburg for 30 million and Lucas left to Palermo for 21.5 million.
So to help with the missing Striker position I went and got Odemwingie from Lille for 35.5 million. Shelled out 14.75 million for Shane Long from Reading.
So I'm into my third season and winning games. Played Reims in the season opener won 3-2 they were leading 1-0 at the break. Goals were from Baros who came on as a sub for Wiltford at left wing. And Shane Long the other scorer. The second game I played Bordeux tied 0-0 at break. Won the game 2-0, Shane Long scored both of them.

Bad singing m8i IMO especially paying all that for Odemwingie and i would of rarther sold Juninho and kept the younger players :P |

jeez mate, Odemwingie aint worth 35.5 mil. I would have bought Cesaer Delgado instead, only 4.5mil and is way better.Don't think Long is worth 14mil either mate.

Yeah. Well I guess the cpu got me there. And got me bad on the selling part. I suck badly at buying and selling players.
Also should I get Augero cause I did an enquiry and Athletico wants 72 million if he decides to come should I grab in at the spot?

72 Million :O NO WAY! hes good but no 1 is worth that m8i, bid low and work your way up slowly and he could probs get him for around 20 MAX!
I sugguest that you scout your targets a few times first before you sign them and see what your scouts say if you arent sure m8i. |

Ok. Lyon played Toulouse for the third game of the season. Tied 0-0 at the half and by the end of the game lost 1-0.
Lyon then played Troyes in the fourth game of the season and won 2-0, goals were scored by Kapo (new signing) and Long.
Lyon then played Lille for the fifth game of the season and were favorites to win the game. Odemwingie came back from and ankle sprain and was picked to play against his former team. Lost 2-0. Both Goals came from Lille's new striker Moussa Dembele. Man. If you guys see the transfer outs irl for Lyon my gosh. A bunch of talent left. It would be astonishing if they won the ligue title with all those people gone. the french ligue isnt all that tho TBH not many great teams to challenge them, i believe they will still win it despite getting beat by Reading and scraping a win against Bolton in pre season :P |
