I got Bristol City promoted with 99 points from League 1 to the Championship in the first season, my main goal scorers were Danny Haynes on loan and Doudin, who I picked up for a nominal fee with a sell on percentage.

On promotion I was given £1m to spend on new players, was over a £1m in the black financially and all was looking good. A lot of players were wanted and I managed to reject all offers, even from Premiership clubs, without a single moan from any of my players. In the first 5 games I won 4 and drew 1, Doudin getting 7 I think it was and I was second. Ipswich wanted £4m for Haynes so I loaned Goodwillie from Aston Villa instead as I will not pay over the odds for any player. Brooker, Jevons, Myrie Williams and Danny Graham are the back up strikers, although I do have Aaritalo at AML at the moment.

2 days before the transfer window was closed my chairman, who had just 6 months earlier asked me to buy a big name player regardless of transfer fee, decided that accepting a £4m bid from Blackburn for Doudin was to good an offer for the club to turn down. I was furious, the w*nker. Not only have I lost my main goal scorer but I have hardly any time to bring anyone in. Doudin had a buy out of £5m anyway and we were doing financially well. I tried everything to keep Doudin, I praised him, asked him to recommend a player and made a bid for him but to no avail. I have just saved the game and left it for a while to cool down ! I wish you could interact with the board more and I could express how angry I was at the decision, or the timing anyway !! Tosser.

On a positive note Borja, Sabic and Fontaine are brilliant and well worth signing for Championship/League 1 sides. Well let you know about the Premiership next season ! Hopefully anyway !
