Default My HSV team on way to glory

Well I started my 2009/2010 season and my squad looks like this:

Keepers:

Ustari
Kirschstein

Defenders:

E. Ratinho
G. Demel
J. Mathijsen
V. Kompany
V. Corluka
T. Atouba
L. Baines

Midfielders:

D. Jarolim
P. Trochowski
P. Leon
R. van der Vaart
J. Sosa
M. Jansen
A. Guardado

Attackers:

G. Asamoah
C. Vela
J.P. Guerrero
D. Sturridge
Alexandre Pato

In the league I won 3 straight games and am on top, but my next match is against Bayern which I am eagerly expecting and it comes 3 days after my 3-1 victory in the champions league against Espanyol, with Ratinho and Vela scoring in the overtime.

Its looking pretty good for now, but I still have some concerns. I generally dont have injury problems, I also have very versatile players that can play in number of positions which is good and I also rotate a lot. I have a very technical squad with good mental and physical attributes also, with some very athletical players. I play a 4-1-2-1-2 system with a playmaker and my wide men with arrow up front. My biggest concern is that my team is in general too young (24 yrs). I miss a few experienced players that could be influental and be able to play in the first team. I wanted Frings but wouldnt join because of the rivalry with Bremen. I wanted to buy Pandev but his price tag of 38 mil euros was too much for my budget to handle. A quality striker partner for Gyan Asamoah would be very welcome, but they are hard too find or are too expensive.

Does any have a suggestion how to improve my team.

Dunno about any improvements cause I didn't red whole your post, just squad.

And I got a question how long you have English players in squad (Sturridge, Baines) and do they prove theirselfs?

PS. You looking for a next forward with these you got now? Experienced and cheap one? Go and search througt some South American leagues (Guatemala, Chile especially) and some teams got veterans aged 30 - 37 in their sides but still with rocking attributes and mostly free or under 1 million euro deal.
