I thought we agreed on "The World At His Feet"?

I would put spaces between the userbars, they look to close together at the moment.

Hope this all works out for you.

South Africa have actually got an ok group, got just as much chance as Uruguay really and they're the hosts.

Didn't notice that when I drew it lol

Wish Senegal had got in but they were in Nigeria's group.

I'm ready with the new file Adam.

Good luck to Nigeria and Italy, my money's on them.

2 hours is nothing Adam, I've spent 19 days on my current game to make the end of the season, though a lot of that isn't actual playing time

    Have fun!

    Thumbs up

So the group stage has started and after a massive opening ceramony full of fire works etc, the WORLD CUP STARTED, with Austria vs Italy in a mouth watering clash. so heres the match reports of the first day.

    3
    2
In the first game of the fifa world cup 2010 in south africa, 87,568 people turned out to watch Italy (the world cup holders) vs Austria, anyway the game started off with live coverage on ITV 1, Fabio Canavaro broke italian history by becoming the oldest player for Italy and he won his 120th Cap. Italy started brightly and took the lead on 22 minutes with a curler from 25 yards from Daniel De Rossi. Italy looked comfortable and made it 2-0 through Cassano lovly effort. 3-0 followed in the 38th minute through Cassano again. So HT 3-0 Austria looked down and out. The 2nd half began and Austria looked stunned but 5 mins after the restart Linz broke through the defense only to hit the post. But finally on the 62nd minute Junuzovic chipped in a goal over Amuri who was in goal for the injured Buffon. Austria had hope. Then on 70 minutes Salmatter hit a beautiful volley top corner for 3-2, Austria believed an upset was on the cards. in 90th minute Linz thmumped a shot, which Canavaro bravly cleared away, and Italy then time wasted and got the 3-2 win, a super opening game.

Later on that Day its was Nigeria against Japan.
    3
    1
So after Italy win over Austria, Nigeria meet Japan in a game of one side to be fair. Nigeria took the lead on 12 minutes through Everton star Yakubu. But Japan started to play some football, and got there reward on 24 minutes. Morimoto scored after a great save from Vincent Enyema. HT 1-1. The second half, started an Nigeria pushed on and on and on and Martin scrambled a goal over the line on the 65th minute. Yakubu then wrapped up the win in the 81st minute finshing a shot which the keeper saved from Joseph Yobo. Nigeria ran out easy winners and go top of there group.

    1.
    2.
    3.
    4.

so the first day of the world cup is over, all eyes on Argentina, Croatia, Ghana, South Korea in Group B.

(btw comment on if you want screenshots from fm or do the table like i have done).

Nice start Adam, good results for Italy and Nigeria

Just need to watch your grammar and spelling, it's sloppy in places. And I think it would be worth putting the points in the group next to the userbars like you have for the scores in matches.

Also, remove your signature from the bottom.

    Good start though.

doing the layout like you have is better, just when it gets down to deciding group games it might be good to include points and goal difference.

    Keep It Up mate.
