Have you came up with a new story idea and are working on it now, give us a glimpse of what it's about, or reveal alot of it. I'm currently working on a story where i start unemployed then get hired by a relatively unknown country. What are you working on or what idea are you trying to develop? | | | | 19-08-08, 05:29 PM | #2 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: May 2006 Location: Near Colchester, Essex Posts: 845 Thanks: 230 Thanked 163 Times in 159 Posts Nominated 2 Times in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | I'm planning on doing a bigger better story/game than my Bedford game, involving all the top leagues in Europe. I'm going to be a totally open and honest manager with the fans and players through a manager's blog on the club website. Not sure whether I'll be posting in it the Writers Section, or just Your Current Game as it will have a story but won't have a proper one running through it. This game will be on FM09 so you have a while to wait lol | Quote: | Originally Posted by Bowser Birdy Is A Legend, Birdy Is A Legend, na na na na *clap* *clap* na na na na. Not really decided what I'm going to do next. I probably took a fairly simple idea of covering a tournament and when that's over I will decide whether I carry on as international manager or go back to club football. I always fancy taking over a team that has a great history but recently has struggled and dropped down a few divisions. Of course this tournament idea has plenty of mileage, I mean how many different ones are there? | | | | | 19-08-08, 08:24 PM | #5 (permalink) | | Indispensable To FMF Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Sheffield Posts: 1,520 Thanks: 430 Thanked 308 Times in 292 Posts Nominated 6 Times in 2 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | When 09 comes out, I will be starting a new story but I'm not sure which one of My idea's I would want to do so I will leave it up to you because I really can't decide. 1. I take over a small nation and make them great 2. I take over my team (Sheffield Wednesday) and take them to greatness. 3. I take over the U18's of a team or U19/21 of a nation and make them good before moving on etc. 4. With the olympics going on, I take over a nation and have them play in the Olympics. 5. I follow a single player (created player) and write about him, similar to the story I am writing now http://www.fmformation.net/writers-s...ooney-new.html Please feel free to vote below, I'd like to know what you think. | This is for you James, hope you like it | | | 19-08-08, 08:30 PM | #6 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Cumbria, UK Posts: 832 Thanks: 142 Thanked 117 Times in 101 Posts Nominated 18 Times in 4 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Hmmm. On FM09 I will probably just play as Man Utd at first for a couple of seasons to get a feel for the new additions. After that I have half a mind to start out unemployed and see where I go from there. As for FM08 I will carry on with Pro Vercelli. Even if I leave, I will carry on inside the same game save. | Pro Vercelli - FM2008 2007/08 3rd Serie C2A 2008/09 5th Serie C1A 2009/10 1st Serie C1A 2010/11 6th Serie B 2011/12 5th Serie B 2012/13 4th Serie B 2013/14 10th Serie A 2014/15 4th Serie A 2015/16 14th Serie A 2016/17 5th Serie A 2017/18 12th Serie A 2018/19 1st Serie A 2019/20 4th Serie A Champions League winners 2020/21 1st Serie A Champions League winners 2021/22 3rd Serie A Coppa Italia winners | | | 19-08-08, 08:45 PM | #7 (permalink) | | vBookie Team, Member of the Ozza Family Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: Cheshire Posts: 2,798 Thanks: 654 Thanked 438 Times in 360 Posts Nominated 5 Times in 1 Post TOTW/F/M Award(s): 0 | Good ideas guys. One is to keep on with the current game as I need to find a new club to manage. The other idea is a stonker, which involves a little tweaking of the data editor. With the new version coming soon, I decided that I'd set about devising a new club. Having read some threads on the forum about creating new players and teams etc, I have seen reference to SUSIE. I then did a google search and found several other forums all suggesting I refer to SUSIE. Who, or what is SUSIE. Could one of you clever chaps help this old boy out, I understand that SUSIE can help me with the kit and hopefully the logo.
