 Mark Hughes Resigns  Mark Hughes has resigned from Manchester City after saying 'I'd prefer a different team as I think I made a big mistake leaving Blackburn for City, I thought City was going to be a bit more.. exciting'  Chairman Thaksin Shinawatra said he's looking at some unexperienced managers. Alex Woods and Claude Anelka are in the spotlight at the moment but likely to hire someone that we don't expect. Thaksin also stated he'll be hiring someone fast as they want to get some new signings underway for the season.  We caught up with the former Raith Rovers manager, he explained why he would take the City job if it was offered to him 'I think Manchester is a big breakthrough for my career, and I would love it if I get the chance to play in the Premier League with my brother Nicolas.'

City Hire Woods  Sighting's of Woods in The City Of Manchester Stadium wearing a City Coat walking around the pitch with Thaksin Shinawatra, assuming talking about the expectations of the job. New Manager Alex Woods said 'I'm feeling phenomenal now I got the job here at City, I'm looking forward to playing against Oldham in the pre-season hopefully with a couple new players for the Club. Thanks.'

TRANSFER MAYHEM  Villarreal Star Matias Fernandezhas been transferred to Manchester City for a fee of £11,000,000 he said 'He was happy to join City because he thought they were a team that will get to success'  Also Rodriguo Palacio has left Boca Juniors for Manchester City on a fee of £9,500,000 he also stated that he was happy to have the chance of playing in the Premier League.  And the last of the new stars for City is Manuel Pasqual for a fee of £6,000,000, apparently City boss Alex Woods said he needed convincing to leave from Fiorentina.  Vagner Love has been strongly linked with Manchester City lately rumor has it that City lodged a £8,000,000 bid in for him, other interests from Lazio,Lyon,Newcastle,Middlesbrough,Tottenham,West Ham. Those signings seem to be pretty good mate as you've carved out some cracking results, particularly against Middlesbrough, Arsenal and Derby.
