Well, that's it folks. A huge thankyou to everyone who read it and for those whose comments made me stick at it.

Hope you enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

The story may have sent me packing but I have kept the saved game alive.

I'll post the 'what happened next' season in 'my current game' if I can squeeze a season in before FM2009.

Cheers

Jon

That was really good, Jonners old chap. Really enjoyed the story and you really managed to get a touch of realism about it, almost as if I could imagine myself being there.

The final part with the players in the car park brought a lump to the throat.

You've gotta write another one, how about taking over a South American team and trying your hand at world domination in some rundown Argentinian training ground?

Good work, fella

The last few games were well fairly comfortable. Shame about the sack. You know, Jon, there were probably a few times during the season, where we could have expected the axe, but we definitely did not expect it to end after the season which has been certainly a "success".

But the ending adds to the realism and really puts the seal on what has been a brilliant read from page one.

Well done on the season, and thanks for keeping us entertained. Sorry, I could not post towards the end because of a really hectic schedule at work, but I have gone through the last few pages right now.

All the best, Jon.
