Rochdale FC
Daniel Worrall, Lancashire Cricket Club's coach, walked towards his car in the Old Trafford car park when he was approached by a short, funny-looking male. He explained that he was from Rochdale Football Club - the team Daniel supports coincidentally, and asked if there was a place they could talk in private. The Lancashire coach showed the man into his office where his signed, framed Dale shirt was hanging up on the wall and his trophy cabinet stood gleaming and half-full.
"So, what brings you here then?" Daniel asked.
"Well, i'm here on behalf of Chris Dunphy, who i'm sure you know is the Rochdale chairman. He is interested in you becoming our new manager." he replied.
"Are you serious?"
"Football is a serious business Mr.Worrall, there are many other candidates if you aren't interested."
"Wait! Sorry for my rudeness, ofcourse i'd be interested in the job." Worrall shouted apologetically.
"You can have 700 pounds a week and a 75k signing on fee."
The man took a piece of paper from his pocket and unfolded it carefully.
"Sign the dotted lines please" he said excitedly.
Daniel took a pen from his pocket and signed the paper quickly.
"Welcome to Rochdale!"
With that, the new Rochdale boss stood up and handed the papers back to the amply proportioned midget.
Finally, Daniel got into his car and drove home. By this time it was getting late so he rung his close friends and family and began scouting for players on the internet and Football Manager.
