Shocking! Famous Five lmao.

Good to see that you're not letting the player's interview get to their heads .

28th August 2007

At about 9 in the morning i opened my laptop to see if anything had happened overnight. I had an e-mail from Queen of South boss, Gordon Chisholm. The email said that my offer for 33 year old midfielder John O'Neill had been accepted and that he would be at the training ground at 1 tomorrow afternoon. This was excting news as O'Neill has a lot of experience under is belt having played for teams like Bournemouth and Celtic.

I was sitting in my office about an hour after training when i recieved a phone call from a Jamaican sounding bloke. It was Onandi Lowe, he was ringing to tell me that he had recieved the Work Permit he was after and all i had to do was confirm the deal. did that straight away but found out that Onandi wouldn't join us until new years day 2008. That was a bit of a blow but i was happy that i'd got the paperwork out of the way and he was now, officially a Peterhead footballer.

Report by Dave McIntyre

The Blue Toon have today secured the signing of 32 year old Jamaican forward Onadi Lowe. Lowe has played for teams like Rushden, Coventry and Port Vale and has a wealth of experience under his belt.

In his career, Lowe has been in a fair amount of trouble. He has been arrested on numerous occasions for possesion of crack cocaine and marijuana. He was also accused of being in a drugs ring smuggling drugs into the UK from the Carribean. Lowe is over this now and wants to concentrate on playing football. The bad news is that Onandi won't join The Blue Toon until the 1st January 2008. He will continue playing for jamaican side Portmore United until that date.

Good grief an international criminal playing for Peterhead, I like the way you say this is all behind him, just dont let the chairman know!!! LOL. Still if you're ever short for some transfer money, or a few of those little blue pills to make an evening with the wife a little more...er....interesting, it sounds like you got a man who knows some people who know some other people!!!!

Good work wozza this is way more interesting than ricky and bianca's imminent return to Eastenders!

29th August 2007

I arrived at training and was greeted by Carles Benacort, my scout. He handed me a piece of lined paper with a name - Duncan Jupp, some pictures of him and a very detailed report on the 32 year old Gillingham reserves right back. He told me that he had been watching Jupp for several weeks now and he strongly reccomends that i make an offer for the Scottish transfer listed right back.

Jupp -
Wanted

I did what he reccomended me to do and called Gills boss Mark Stimson saying that i would like to make a bid of 1k for Jupp. He said he would get back to me on the offer.

During training, John O'Neill, the player who i was offering a contract to today turned up. He was alone which i was surprised at. After training as i was talking to him in my office, he revealed that he doesn't have an agent as he doesn't believe in it all and he can't afford someone taking part of his wages. I admired that. We got down to business and i offered him a deal of 160 punds a week. He said that he would get back to me as soon as possible and said that he enjoyed talking to me.

I got a phone call from Dean Cowie saying that his move to Elgin was going through tonight and i just needed to finalise the deal and he would be on his way. I did so and had a brief chat with him saying goodbye excetera.

This is really turning into an all star battle, between the manager of the "Famous Five"...Mr Wozza "Enid Blyton" Wolves, and creator of "race for the title", Sir TH "JKRowling" of Knaresborough.

I think it would be very interesting, and very very close to call on these stories.

Maybe worth a poll in the next few weeks guys, and possibly a good reason to re-open vBookie?

Will post this comment in TH's thread too, as I know some people havent bothered to read one or other of these future classics of fiction. For those of you who havent please take the time to do so, its well worth the read, and a real credit to the effort both these guys have put into it.

Well done both of you.

30th August 2007

I had a phone call from Duncan Jupp's agent at about 11 in the morning saying that he is not interested in joining our club. I hadn't even offered him a contract and he rejected a move over here. It's his loss really. I feel this club is really going somewhere and if he doesn't want to be a part of it then screw him.

After training i was in my office. I turned the TV on and quickly switched it onto Sky Sports 1. I looked at what was coming on in the next hour or so and saw that the Scottish League Review was on. I pressed the 'I' button to give me more information on the programme and to my surprise there was going to be a review of our 5-1 hammering of Airdrie Utd as it was chosen as game of the week.

SCOTTISH LEAGUE REVIEW

Hello and welcome to Scottish League Review, we are going to start with Peterheads victory over Airdrie Utd.

Going into this game, Airdrie Utd were top of the league and hadn't conceded a goal. Peterhead were bottom of the league with just 1 point. Here's what happened.

The ball fell to Iain Good deep inside his own half, he played an accurate long ball to Rory McAllister who took it round the keeper and slotted home cooly!

Callum MacDonald stepped up to take the penalty. He looked cool as a cucumber. MacDonald! Great peanlty! Into the bottom right hand corner of the net!

McAllister slid in and took the ball off Soutar, he went on a huge run into the box getting past Sharp and slotting it home for his second and Peterhead's 3rd of the game.

Keith took Peterhead's second penalty of the game and converted it with ease. 4-0.

McKeown got a consolation goal for Airdrie, but what a consolation goal it was! The free kick hit the post and went in.

Martin Bavidge rounded off the scoring by converting a deflected shot from Dean Robertson.

That win moved Worrall's Peterhead up to 6th place. Daniel Worrall has done excellently well since taking over at Peterhead and has got all of Peterheads 4 points this season in just 2 games.

Goodbye Cowie. I knew thee not at all.

I hope you get Jupp mate. I've had him before for Exeter and he done really well, should be a good addition.

EDIT: You didn't get Jupp! Unlucky mate.
