Adam Pearson (Chairman)
James Leach (Manager) I'm here today at Derby County's Football Stadium to speak to Adam Pearson and new manager James Leach. So Mr. Pearson, why the sudden change? Well ever since Paul Jewell became manager at derby we didn't get off to a good start, he had disrupted the whole team.
I decided to let Jewell go, He wasn't the manager who i wanted, instead we have hired James Leach as our new manager for the club. Not many people have heard of him, but we have full faith in his abilty. Thank you for that Mr. Pearson, James Leach, what are your plans for this club newly promoted the the english premiership? Not many people have heard of you and will probably have a short fuse with you , Sorry didn't mean to offend you there. This is a big step for me, i haven't managed any team like this before, I'll be looking to keep them up front relegation but by the looks of it almost everyone is expecting us to be going straight down. Adam Pearson and myself beleive we can achieve this goal. Thank you for this interview. |

inside access James Leach Alex Fernandez 12-07-2007 I'm here today just 5 days after new boss Leach took charge of the Rams, and to a massive suprise he hasn't hessitated in bringing some new faces into the squad, ill now speak to Mr. Leach about his new signing Alex Fernandez an unknown player from small club C.D Coslada, for free. So Mr. Leach how did you get to find this player and how well do you think he will do at your new club? Hi, i think Alex will eventually become a first team regular, but i dont think he has what it takes to break the first team yet though.. ill give him a chance like i will do all my players. He's a young lad and has alot to learn about the game and english football which is the priority obviously. He is deffinately a good signing for our future in the premiership and his cost is excellent also, as he was free. Do you think you will be signing anyone else in the near future? Possibly, i have sent my scouts to various places to watch a few names which i dont want to name at this precise moment, i will do once i have confirmed deals and contracts. thank you Mr. Leach looking forward to talking to you again. |

Inside Access Gabriel Torje 15-07-2007 Just three days after rookie gaffer James Leach signed youngster Alex Fernandez he decided to splash some cash on the newest member of Derby County young hot prospect Gabriel Torje. Gabriel Torje, How do you feel on your move away from home and your move to England to be under management from Leach? I errr am very happy to move to such a club as derby, im really looking forward to what impact my new boss will have on me. wouldnt it have been better to spend cash on a left winger mate as u have Barnes, anyway u can allways sell torje for stacks in a few seasons lol, swindon have a good young left winger mate, might be a good back up and one for future, not sure first name so search mcnamee or just search swindon lol. |
