Coming into the job on the 1st July 2007,
30 year old unknown Alex Seth decided Queens Park rangers needed a new eleven;
In just a matter of days Seth had put in bids for 10 players,
He was trying to turn QPR into slayers;
Kightly and Haynes were the firsts to sign,
Eagles and Boyd didn't maybe some other time;
Bids for Leto, Valdivia and Hoyte were to fail,
Whilst work permits made chances of Barreto, Herrara and Angulo's signings sail;
In came Goncalves, Nosworthy and St Ledger,
While Brummy got Blackstock and Rehman left for Peterborough;
The final lot was Howard, Hart, Viafara and Ian Morris,
The captain was selected as Mahon, you know the one from Norwich;
So the season is soon to begin, and the team is ready,
Lets take these boys from Loftus Road, to the top of Championship come May;

The month started well,
As the team began to gel;
Bristol City(H) - 2-0 - Agyemang, Nosworthy
Nyron Nosworth with one, and Agyemang with the other,
2-0 the final score, but it will only get tougher;
Wycombe(H) - Carling Cup - 2-1 - Haynes(2), Sutton
The young boy Haynes shined,
With 2 goals he was man of the match, mind;
A 2-1 Victory at home,
The next round opponent will soon be known;
Charlton(H) - 1-2 -Agyemang, Gray, Todorov
One of the toughest fixtures to date,
Oh Charlton, I do hate;
After going ahead early,
A 2-1 defeat made my toes curly;
Barnsley(A) - 2-1 - Haynes, Christensen, Mostto
The first away fixture of the season,
Another defeat, this is worse than treason!;
Another early lead is made,
Barnsley put my season in the shade;
Preston(H) - Carling cup - 2-1 - Brown(pen), Agyemang, Mahon
The north west lads came to London,
With a dramatic encount, that was lots of fun!;
1-0 down in the last minute,
Agyemang scored in the 90th but not to win it;
Mahon scored from 30 yards;
In the last minute too, wow he hit is hard! |

The 1st of September brought Colchester,
And once again Haynes sure did pester!;
He popped up twice to give me the win,
At least this month didn't start with the gin!!!;

This time I fell to a 2-0 defeat,
God it hurts when I get beat;
Cardiff(A) 1-0 Fowler
The legend Fowler and his old legs,
Gave Cardiff the lead and made my team look like rotten eggs;
Norwich(H) 1-1 Moshoeu, Howard
All square this time and it's looking grim,
My season looks like it is going in the bin!;
Man Utd(H) 0-2 Anderson Nani
The two young lad's were just too tricky,
Although my goalie was shit, he should have played a sickie!;

Another big game, saw the winger shine
