Also, Guy Branston and Matt Davies have been released to help with the financial problems at Redditch. Guy Branston Redditch's next match is in the Setanta Shield fifth round against Burton Albion, this will be a welcome break from the league for Daniel Worrall and his players. Liam Shepherd and Jon Boardman are cup-tied for this match as they have already played in the competition for Nuneaton and St Albans. Kevin Sandwith is back from injury but is doubtful for the match with Wilkinson expected to make his debut. Ryan Charles and Liam Connolly have just come back from injury and our expected to be on the bench. Poul Hubertz doubtful to make debut. | | | | 18-02-08, 09:26 PM | #68 (permalink) | | Important First Team Player Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Knaresborough Posts: 506 Thanks: 945 Thanked 357 Times in 282 Posts Nominated 11 Times in 3 Posts TOTW/F/M Award(s): 1 | Ok mate, good update, some good signings and good luck in the Cup!!!!!! After 90 minutes nothing could seperate the two sides so the game went into extra time. Daryl Clare got the winning goal for Burton 5 minutes into the first half of extra time to put them through to the quarter-final of the Setanta Shield. "We were so close, it was a tight game but we just lost concentration. At least we can concentrate on survival now" said Reds boss Daniel Worrall. Next Redditch face Sutton Utd at the Valley Stadium in the Blue Square Premier. Daryl Clare Dear Diary, we are out of the Sultana Shield. Oh well, we had a good run and got to the fifth round, and in the end we were lucky to lose. We can concentrate on the league now! Kevin Sandwith is back to near full fitness and Nathan Delfouneso is recovering quickly! We face 16th place Sutton Utd at our place next, hopefully we can get something out of that!
