Ok. I did the best I could with a 6million transfer budget.



i improved it but its still a little thin in the scouting department.



first match of the season so far so good.


Steve Bruce smelled blood apparently and came out with a very attacking lineup.

with a beat up defense i thought i had a shot at taking all 3 from this one but they put there best attacking team so i knew it had to be defensively sound.




with his taking off at the 69th this fixture concluded James Milner's career at St. James Park i sold him to Portsmouth for 9.7M.

i was white knuckling this one for 65 minutes then i brought on farfan and the rest is history. also when you see needless challenge in the wikipedia there should be a picture of Dave Rozehnal and that 93rd foolishness.



i fear that 1-4-1-4 it just sucks the life out of my tactic and with some pace they can take me on the counter but they just couldn't find the finish and then the floodgates opened that Nicky Butt goal was one of the best strikes ive seen in FM.

September is here and with a great start i was feeling good and although i didn't do poorly i should have done better with my much softer schedule.


That penalty was bull feathers it was an errant cross that Howard Webb decided he wanted to hand a point away to Everton.



My strikers didn't have it today but Everton were never threatening this should have been my 3 points considering Faye's great strike.



this was Bresciano's debut, and i was less then impressed with it, but it was his debut right.



this is the match that really told me we were on the way to some market correction. we played great for 30 minutes and then lay an egg and they equalize.








Bresciano started to worry me, with this performance.

This was the welcoming back of James Milner to St James Park.

this was a great win i stuck them on the counter and then stuck the dagger in.




I hope virtual Avram is kicking himself because that was his loss that line up was terrible. i tried he didnt and i got my just desserts.

this was a solid win with Shola showing me that chip on his shoulder.

DOUBLE UPDATE

Ok, played all the way to December, January is coming soon and the halfway mark to the 07/08 season.




I was harshly done but we had been the draw kings coming into this match.

this has to be the single greatest performance in premier league history





League Cup 4th round



disappointingly this the end of my league cup i dominated the game but Bolton just has my number in the game







This game we got throttled but we hung in there we could have quit after half time 2-0 down our centrebacks were useless, but we didn't. we scratched and clawed and bit and got a result on a fabulous Diaby strike.








key win against a big 4 team this win give me 3 straight wins against the big 4









a tough loss i really thought we had the performance to niche a point but Yoshi's strike was top drawer and i can't complain to much. 3 out of 4 isn't all that bad.
