Race For The Title
Ok with the release of the new update, I am about to start my speciality game, the crazy game I play all the time, but haven't done for a while.
Basically I start as every Premier League side, using the real life managers, with their real dates of births, and favourite clubs etc.
I increase the transfer budgets for each Premier League side first, so I can make realistic transfers, because of the overpricing of certain players. I wouldn't consider this cheating in this instance though, because obviously there is no one to cheat against!
You may call me crazy for this idea, and personally I think I am too, but I enjoy it because I like having complete control!
These are the following rules of my game: 1. If a manager gets sacked, I rejoin as the favourite for the job, using their real details, like with every other manager. 2. I usually don't make signings on this game, but I will for the purposes of this thread.
I wasn't sure whether to do a thread for this season, so I asked for some advice, and Wozza thought it was a great idea!
I also wasn't sure how to present my thread, and then Wozza had a brainwave!!!!
He said I could do it as if I was a Sky Sports reporter, reporting on all the events in the Premiership, rather than concentrating on individual teams.
This was also a great idea because I want to be a Sports Journalist when I'm older, and I think that this will be great practice!!!
I will post events as soon as they happen, so keep a watch out, and I hope you enjoy my story!
Also, please can you give me some recommendations and improvements for this thread to help me get the optimum value out of it, thanks!!!!!
