01/08/07 BREAKING NEWS Danny Mills is set to end his Man City nightmare, and join Derby County on a permanent deal worth £750K. Mills is currently on loan at Pride Park. . PREMIERSHIP NEWS Derby have also had a £1M bid accepted by Tottenham for Hossam Ghaly, who is also currently on loan with the club. Liverpool have accepted an undisclosed fee from Bolton for on loan midfielder Danny Guthrie. Rafael Schmitz could be on his way to St Andrews permanently after Lille accepted a £3M bid from Birmingham for the defender. 02/08/07 BREAKING NEWS Rafinha has completed his £11.75M move to Liverpool after he received a work permit. The defender signs on a 4 year deal which will see him stay at the club until 2011. . PREMIERSHIP NEWS Danny Guthrie has signed a 3 year deal at Bolton, making his loan deal from Liverpool permanent. Everton have had a £5M bid accepted for on loan South African Stephen Pienaar. Al Sadd have accepted Birmingham's £5M offer for Mauro Zarate, who is currently on loan at St Andrews. Wigan have had a £2M offer accepted for Marcus Bent, and a £1M accepted for Erik Hagen. Everton have negoatiated a £3.9M deal with Celtic for midfielder Thomas Gravesen. Portsmouth have had a £4M offer accepted on loan striker Milan Baros. However, they have had a £3M bid for left back Lucien Aubey rejected by Lens.

04/08/07 BREAKING NEWS Marcus Bent signs a permanent 2 year deal at Wigan, moving for £2M from Charlton. . PREMIERSHIP NEWS Danny Mills has signed permanently for Derby for £750K in a 3 year deal. Mauro Zarate has rejected a permanent move to Birmingham because he has only just joined his current club Al Sadd, although he is on loan at St Andrews. Stephen Pienaar has accepted a contract at Everton, and will sign permanently for £5M if he is granted a work permit. Everton have also had a £14M bid rejected for Manuel Fernandes, who is already on loan at Goodison Park. Lens have negotiated a fee with Portsmouth for defender Lucien Aubey, and the clubs have agreed a fee believed to be in the region of £12M Newcastle have had a £7M bid rejected for Marseille defender Taye Taiwo. |
