This is really turning into an all star battle, between the manager of the "Famous Five"...Mr Wozza "Enid Blyton" Wolves, and creator of "race for the title", Sir TH "JKRowling" of Knaresborough.

I think it would be very interesting, and very very close to call on these stories.

Maybe worth a poll in the next few weeks guys, and possibly a good reason to re-open vBookie?

Will post this comment in WozzaWolves' thread too, as I know some people havent bothered to read one or other of these future classics of fiction. For those of you who havent please take the time to do so, its well worth the read, and a real credit to the effort both these guys have put into it.

Arsene Wenger picked up the prize for Manager of the Month in August, beating Alex Ferguson and Rafael Benitez, who came second and third respectively.

Frank Lampard won Player of the Month, and he was closely followed by Man Utd strikers Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez. Rooney also picked up the award for Young Player of the Month, ahead of second and third placed Asamoah Gyan of Fulham and Ryan Babel of Liverpool.

Matias Fernandez secured Goal of the Month, for a stunning strike against West Ham, and Aliaksandr Hleb and Tuncay Sanli came second and third for their efforts against Middlesbrough and Blackburn.
