Manchester City Football Club
Manchester City Football Club are an English professional football club based in Manchester in the North West of England. They play in the Premier League and are regarded as an underachieving team or a "sleeping giant". The club haven't won a major trophy since 1976 apart from the Nationwide Division 1 (now known as the Coca Cola Championship) in the 2001/02 season.
CREST
The main part of the club's crest is the shield in the middle. On the sky blue sheild are three white stripes which signify the three rivers that pass through Manchester. The latin words at the bottom read "Pride in Battle" which is now used a lot around the club. The three stars at the top are purely for effect.
COLOURS
Traditional City colours have always been sky blue shirts with white shorts but City's first ever shirt was black. They then changed the colour of their shirt to coincide with their name change. The kit colours for the 08/09 season are sky blue home shirt, red and black striped away and an orange third shirt.

AREAS TO IMPROVE
Left Back: Garrido and Ball are both very solid left backs and can do a good job. However, if you're looking to take City to the next level eg. Top 6 then it is reccommended that you sign a new left back.
Reccommened players: Carlos Salcido, Alexandar Lukovic, Gareth Bale, Antonio Lopez, Gonzalo Pineda, Leighton Baines.
Goalkeeper: Again, Joe Hart and Kasper Schmeichel are both great keepers and have the potential to be even better. I suggest buying an experienced keeper who you can rely on for big games and when the going gets tough. Someone to guide the two youngsters through your first two seasons before letting them take over the job.
Reccommended players: Bogdan Lobont, Vincent Enyeama, Kamil Contofalsky, Shay Given, Robert Green
Striker: Not the most important part of the team to strengthen as City have a lot of strikers. Although they have a lot, Benjani and Vassell do not have the required ability to score 20+ goals a season. Jo and Caicedo are great prospects and are already decent strikers. Robinho is brilliant if played in the right tactic and formation.
Reccommended players: Roque Santa-Cruz, Fernandinho, Andrey Arshavin, Bafetimbi Gomis, Klass-Jan Huntelaar, Rodrigo Palacio, Marouane Chamakh.
Defensive Midfielder: Another minor addition needed. There are quality players already at City in this position such as Kompany and Fernandes. You may want to strengthen the midfield with another DMC to use in big games. Another option is to buy a DMC with a high work rate to play next to Kompany who will run around and chase anything he misses.
Reccomended players: Miguel Veloso, Nigel de Jong, Arturo Vidal, Tom Huddlestone, Jermaine Jenas.
Hope you liked my guide. If there's anything you think needs adding then let me know :) Hope to see a lot of people starting games as City and taking my advice.
