Squad

First Team Players

Jamie Langfield (GK)

Regarded as a good signing for premier league side's, he should be considered first choice for the goalkeeping slot. His eccentricity of 11 may worry some, but from experience, he is a constant performer (7's). Still only 27, and should be good enough for 7 years or so.

Jackie McNamara (RB)

Some may consider Alan Maybury to be the first choice, however i always go with McNamara's experience in the Aberdeen squad. Getting on at 33 but still a good player with solid stats.

Dan Smith (LB)

Young at 20, and also versatile, Smith should be the first choice left back, and he should develop well into a quality player. Still at 20, he is regarded as a good signing for premier league sides.

Dave Bus (CB)

On loan from dutch club De Graafschap, the strong CB should be in the first team for aberdeen to compliment the youthfulness of Diamond at the heart of the defense. Maybe conisder trying to tie him up for a nominal fee, but i would keep him on loan and buy someone better for the second season.

Zander Diamond (CB)

Young at 22, and should be there for many years to come. Will gather some interest but reject all and look to pair him up with an equally good Cb for the second season. Good Player for the corner tactic also.

Jeffrey De Visscher (RM)

A right winger who would be a leading star for premier sides, the 26 year old winger should be one of the first names on the team sheet.

Sone Aluko (LM)

On loan from Birmingham, Aluko should be the first choice left winger. Still only 18, however lacks a bit of pace, but should be good for the first season.

Barry Nicholson (CM)

Nicholson as to most Scottish football fans, is a solid midfielder for Aberdeen. Linked with top championship clubs in real life, he should be paired with the equally talented Severin at CM.

Scott Severin (CM) (C)

Scott Severin is the captain of Aberdeen, and at 28 adds experience with Nicholson to the midfield, which is needed due to Aluko's inexperience at this level. A star of the aberdeen team, he should be played slightly deep within a 4-4-2 formation.

Darren Mackie (ST)

Paired with Lee Miller, he shouldnt do too bad, however i believe he would be better suited as an impact player due to his pace. Replacement needed imo.

Lee Miller (ST)

The first choice striker at Aberdeen, and deservedly so, he really is a quality target man. Should be kept and also should ease his way into the scotland setup if on form.

Formation And Tactics

A typical 4-4-2 formation should do the trick in the scottish league with these instructions...

The player instructions should be set with one striker being a target man (miller), with the other making forward runs. Also one midfielder (severin) should sit deep and pass and the other play neutrally, with the wingers creating flair from midfield positions.

Possible Signings

With very little transfer funds for the first season, the only option is to loan player in to cover positions. I would suggest getting in a left winger and a fast striker (better than those listed earlier)

my suggestions would be Jamie O'hara from tottenham for the left wing, and Ben Sahar from Chelsea for the striker position

And thats about it... if i need any more give me comments and i will do so...

xx

Aberdeen East End are a non-league Scottish side. I play them in friendlys for some reason and requested a guide for a joke.

Still this guide is better than the current Aberdeen guide, so well done.
