Thumbs up Crystal Palace Team Guide

Information
Nation: England
Year Founded: 1905
Status: Professional
Reputation: National
Chairmen Stats: Simon Jordan- Loves the Club
Favoured Personal: Steve Coppell, Andrew Johnson, Doggie Freeman, Gareth Southgate, Lombardo, Clinton Morrison
Fierce Rivals: Brighton, Millwall
Other Rivals: Charlton, Birmingham
Finances: Okay
Estimated Value: 16 Million (Loan Debt £2 Million)
Stadium: Selhurst Park, London
Media Prediction: 4th

Captain: Mark Hudson
Transfer Budget: 2 Million

This is the Squad on Football Manager 2008

These are some possible signings for Crystal Palace 1st season in the Championship, they helped me a lot and I came 1st in the Championship

Alex Fernandez- Free Transfer- is a fantastic striker to have, comes on and scores some vital goals.

Pablo Piatti- £300K- Estuidrants- A brilliant player for Crystal Palace, plays well on the left hand side of Midfield

Bogdan Stancu- £1.8 Million- This player is Fantastic, Its great having him at any team, won player of the season scored the most goals and is a ace signing and great striker, and will win player of the season, if not come 2nd.

Nordtveit - Loan for 1 season - Arsenal- If you can loan him from Arsenal, he is a great defender for you and will battle to keep you in games against the big teams.

Scott Golbourne- Loan for a season - Reading - was a great defender and named in championship X1 of the season, after 1st season his a free transfer and like I did snap him up fast.

Iain Turner: Season long loan - Everton- This keeper is brilliant and should be in goal for you all season.
Other Possible Signings
Alpay
Zeefuik
Gabriel Torje
Arnaursonn
Kallon
Tommy Spurr
Gareth O’Connor
Jose Fonte - on 8:0:2 he on loan anyway

Crystal Palace are a great choice of team as they are a team, who attack and are a side who can challenge for the title 1st season and like I did win it 1st season. Also they have good cup runs, and with some top signings are tipped to win promotion. Keeping them up can be easy if you buy the right players, try looking on free transfers as I got Rivaldo and Sami Hypia.

The Tactics to play for Crystal Palace are an easy option 4-4-2 with the midfielder lines pushed up, so they can run along the line and cross the ball.
GK: Julian Speroni/ Iain Turner (if Purchased)
DL: Tony Craig
DR: Danny Buterfield
DC: Jose Fonte
DC: Mark Hudson/Nordviet
ML: Mark Kennedy/Pablo Piatti (If Purchased)
MR: Tom Soares (hard to replace if sold)
MC: Ben Watson
MC: Carl Fletcher
FC: Shefiki Kuiq/Bogdan Stancu ( If purchased I would get him)
FC: Clinton Morrison
(Also James Scowcroft is a decent player who should get a chance.
Also Clint Hill is good back-up.)

the best players for Crystal Palace are Ben Watson, Carl Flecther and Clinton Morrison and Tom Soars, and are all major part of the Team, i would keep hold of them and start them in every game possible.

I would Expect Crystal Palace to win Promotion to the Premiership, very easyily because there squad is very strong and are are challangers to win the league easy.

I hope you enjoy managing Crystal Palace on Football Manager 2008.

and this is my table from the 1st season in charge

see i came 1st
Good Luck

Good guide Adam but seriously, you really need to use a smaller font.

I echo all the people above me,
Good guide, but use a smaller font next time.

The north will rise again!
