Default Anderlecht

Anderlecht

Team Information

Nation- Belgium
Year founded- 1908
Status- Professional
Reputation- National
Chairman Status- Loves The Club
Fierce Rivals- FC Brussels, Club Brugge, Standard
Other Rivals- RWDM
Finances- Okay
Estimated Value- £22.5m
Stadium- Stade Constant Vanden Stock, Brussels
Stadium Capacity- 26,361
Training Facilities- Good
Youth Facilities- Good, and good youth academy
Continental Competition- European Champions Cup (champions league)
Media Prediction- 1st
Squad Average- 26
Squad personality- Very Determined
Captain- Bart Goor

In my opinion, if you were to take up a career with Anderlecht, your main target would be to win the league and try and get out of the group stages of the champions league. This isn't impossible, though some signings need to be made in my opinion in order to complete this. Long term, you should be aiming to get further in the champions league as the jupiler league really isn't particularly strong

Transfer Budget- £1.4m
Wage Budget- £215k

As you can see above, the squad is generally quite unbalanced in player positions in my opinion, however it would suit a 4-3-3 formation if you wished to play this due to the excess number of strikers.

These are the tactics i would suggest using with the team as it is. As seen, it looks strong particularly in the midfield area, despite having few. I feel in the league you can get away with playing the wingers and full backs pushing up as biglia is one of the best young defensive midfielders in europe.

Key positions to replace

to put it mildly, the centre backs are not good enough for Anderlecht and has been the perenial problem for the belgian club in previous years. Juhasz and Pareja would be ok as spares in this league, but they aren't starters. This possibly is the only position's that needs replacing in the first season as the rest of the team is good enough to win the league

Players In

Christopher Samba- Blackburn- This should be your first signing as Anderlecht manager as he is a good centre back with the potential to be good enough for a top team. Should be available for around £2m.

Zvenyika Makonese- Santos FC- A really good centre back for the money. He is 29 which means he's aging but i believe he's got at least four good seasons left in him. Avaiable for around £75k (yes seventy five thousand), this is the only other player i would suggest adding to the squad.

Players Out

Silvio Proto- Although quite a good goalkeeper and still only 24, he isn't as good as the other two goalkeepers. Should be able to get around £500k which will be enough to fund the new centre backs.

Bakary Sare- Loan him out for a few seasons to see how he develops, his stats aren't spectacular but worth the risk.

Well that's It, Anderlecht really are a good challenge on the champions league front, whilst also giving you an easy game in the league. With only Standard and Club Brugge to really challenge you in the league, attention should be on champions league.

this team creates some brilliant players for examble borre and kompany just shame they no longer at this club
bakary sare cant turn out great if given some first team that can be on loan or durin cup matches

biglia is a must keep this guy is one of the most creative players in this game in my opinion aint much of a DM as hes only accomplished there and after a season he can be a first team starter for any top europe side and was a brilliant replacement for van bommel in my bayern game

good guide tho :D
oh yh oliver deschact (spelling) and Jelle Van Damme are also 2 must keep players as they are very good

another defender u could proberly try is Leandro Gioda has some brilliant stats and is only 22 so still time for him to get better

thanks to Josh for makin this awesome sig!
