Default Paris Saint Germain

Paris Saint Germain

Team Information

Reputation- National
Chairman Status- Loves The Club
Fierce Rivals- Marseille
Other Rivals- Saint Etienne
Finances- Secure
Estimated Value- £55m
Stadium- Parc De Princes, Paris
Stadium Capacity- 48000
Training Facilities- Good
Youth Facilities- Good
Continental Competition- None
Media Prediction- 10th
Squad Average- 24
Squad personality- Determined
Captain- Sylvain Armand

Transfer Budget: i would suggest challenging for european qualification as the squad is talented, in this case you get a healthy £5.5m to spend on new players

Goalkeepers

Jerome Alonzo

A fairly decent goalkeeper, but ageing at 34. This goalkeeper should be a backup and for the first season at least i would advise keeping him. Has a relatively high eccentricity though at 12 and so can be a liability at times.

Mickael Landreau

The best goalkeeper in the paris squad and one of the best goalkeepers in the french league. still only 28, he's just about to reach his peak and should definitely be the first choice goalkeeper for paris.

Left Full Back

Strangely there isn't any natural left full backs in the squad; Armand and Sakho can both play in this position at a decent level but they are more suited to the centre back position. Ideally this void needs filling with a quality player

Right Full Back

Caera

This brazilian should be ideally the first choice right back at the club. He's 27 which is just at the begining of his peak and his stats are generally quite good for an attacking full back.

Bernand Mendy

A decent back up to the attack minded Caera, Mendy was before the brazilian arrived first choice right back at Paris. You should keep him for a while with him only being 25, or if strapped for cash, sell him for around £2.5million

Centre Backs

Sylvain Armand

The club captain and deservedly so, a quality centre back that will imediatly create interest from the bigger sides in europe. Lyon and Marseille normally come knocking but keep him, it'll be hard to get a suitable replacement.

Mamadou Sakho

You will need to offer this 17 year old a professional contract immediatly otherwise the big clubs will sign him up. Becomes one of the best centre backs in the game later on and so should be kept at all costs.

Zamouna Camara

Ageing slightly but still within his defensive peak, Camara should be Armand's partner at the heart of the defense. Dont worry about his age as the next defender is the ideal replacement and is still as good as Camara.

Gregory Bourillon

Injured at the start of the game, this 23 year old is as good as Camara from the starting block. Should when back from injury be competing with Camara for the starting slot. Its really up to you which one you choose as for experience or potential

Mario Yepes

A fairly decent centre back and certainly good enough to start on the bench, however i would suggest selling him for £1m or so in order to create funds as the other centre backs above are good enough to oust the columbian from the squad.

Defensive Midfielders

Clement Chantome

A brilliant young defensive midfielder who should be considered for the first team at the tender age of 19. In my opinion much better than the Rangers flop Jeremy Clement and should develop fast playing week in week out. His passing at 16 suggests him to be in the Vieira, Toulalan mould.

Jeremy Clement

Remembered mainly for his disappointing time in scotland, Clement really should be ready to move on, as he is not good enough for Paris's midfield in my opinion. Has some average statistics and still only 24 but should sell for a fee about £1.5m

Didier Degarde

Another product of the Paris youth system, Degarde is a quality young defensive midfielder at the age of 19. Should be kept or perhaps loaned out for first team experience. A good prospect for the future undoubtedly.

Younousse Sankhare

Like Sakho, should be signed up to a full time contract immediatly. At 17 and in the first team squad this guy is gonna be one of the best defensive midfielders later in the game. A must keep but can be loaned out if needed to gain first team experience.

Attacking Midfielders

Jerome Rothen

Most people will have heard of this talented left winger. Still only 28 and should be considered for vice captaincy. Much interest is shown in the winger but you should really keep hold of him as he adds experience to the youthful midfield behind him.

Souza

A sao paulo buy for Paris, this attacking midfielder should be considered for the first team due to his brilliant technical ability. Typical of most attacking brazilian midfielders, he should play just behind the strikers.

Amare Diane

A fairly decent right winger who's still young at 23. not as good as souza but should be kept in case he gets better with experience. If sold expect a fee around the £2m mark

Forwards

Everton Santos

A good brazilian prospect for Paris at 20, bought from the renown Corinthians Paulista, he should definitely be kept for the future. Can also play behind the strikers in the Souza role, he also has versatility

Peguy Luyindula

A decent french international striker who should be the first choice. Doesnt score that often but supplies to Pauleta and chips in now and again. Shouldnt be sold and in his prime at 28

Ted Balongo

A risk to keep with poor ability and should offload as soon as possible but dont expect money. If you cant sell him rot him in the reserves or loan him out with him only being young.

David N'Gog

A good average striker at the start of the game, he should be kept due to his good potential to develop into someone as good as Pauleta. a benchwarmer at best however, should be used sparingly in the league and more in cup matches and playing against poor teams such as Valenciennes

Pauleta

Paris' key player, Pauleta is renown for his amazing goalscoring skills. Unfortunately retiring at the end of the first season, make sure you get the best out of his goalscoring skills by playing him alongside Luyindula for a great partnership. Try and get him on your staff as a coach after he retires

Players To Sell

Balonga, Clement, Yepes

As explained above

Players To Buy

Pierre Wome- Werder Bremen- should be able to be bought for about £2m and should slot into the left back position with ease. A quality attacking full back to compliment that of the brazilian on the opposite side

Bogdan Stancu- Unirea- the ideal replacement for Pauleta for when he retires, can be bought for around £750k and can oust luyindula if you want- i would act against this however for the first season.

Players To Loan

Alexandre Song- Arsenal- a decent centre midfielder who can play in first team or on the bench

Iago- Barcelona- a good winger/attacking midfielder who can provide good backup to the first team. Try and arrange a fee at the end of the loan as he has bags of potential

I would play a 4-2-2-2 formation with the two attacking midfielders having much creative freedom and the two holding ultra defensive so the full backs can push up.

Key Player- Landreau, Armand, Rothen, Pauleta
an awesome spine to any team most would agree.

This is my first so dont be too harsh, and sorry about the lack of graphics.

Nice work there westy, lots of info, generally a great first start.

I would advocate the use of a bit of colour if (like me) you're not hot with your gfx. Alternatively post a few more times, and get to know our graphical geniuses in the shoutbox who can do em for you.
