Striker's
Claudio - FC - Palmeiras Carlos Ruiz - FC - FC Dallas
The board always accept a 8m+ offer for Belluschi so I would not build a team around him cause he goes, but the bonus to this is you have cash so you can bring in players that the team needs.
Juan Pablo Carrizo - 23 - Argentinian - Right - Loan - 0 per week
Carrizo who is on Loan from Serie A team Lazio for the season is easily the best Keeper at the club out of the current selection, Will be a decent keeper even if the defence is having a off day and will keep River Plate in any match by making key saves,is Lazio deal ends in 2009 maybe you can try Loan him again the season after or pray he does not sign a contract. This area does need investment though.
Juan Ojeda - 24 - Argentinian - Right - 100k - 1k per week
Would be the best Keeper at the club if it was not for Carrizo been on Loan, will do well against most teams but you could bring a better Keeper in and make him a Number two/third choice in the future. He could possibly make your team drop points has he as a habit of letting goals in.
Mario Vega - 23 - Argentinian - Left - 500k - 525 per week
Is an above average Keeper but will not got many opportunities in the First Team due to there been better options ahead of him,Vega is worth holding on to though cause he does improve.
Left Back's
Cristian Villagra - 21 - Argentinian - Right - 1.3m - 750 per week
In a position where there is not any competition,Villagra is the only one suitable to play here. You do not need to worry playing him cause he can do a good job versus any team. But bring in a Left Back cause you need one for sure.
Right Back's
Paulo Ferrari - 25 - Argentinian - Right - 1.5m - 1.6k per week
He is the strongest player at this position comparing to the others out of the current squad,I would say he is a Key member of the team and will be for a while,European clubs try buy him before the season starts just reject the offers for him.Do not sell him.
Diego Bogoda - 21 - Argentinian - Right - 4k - 325 per week
Diego is just a average player and will struggle to hold a place in the team, maybe if a replacement can be brought in you can transfer list him cause he does not improve much in the future.
Centre Back's
Eduardo Tuzzio - 33 - Argentinian - Right - 825k - 3.4k per week
Tuzzio is still a important player although he is 33 years old, can even start against the best teams domestically or in Continental competitions.Worth keeping until you can find a younger player who could possibly be like him or better.
Ferdorico Lussenhoff - 33 - Argentinian - Right - 373k - 2k per week
Same as Tuzzio, not much difference between them can become a good pairing in the centre of defence.Like Tuzzio you will need to find a younger player for the future to replace him.
Cristian Nasuti - 24 - Argentinian - Right - 475k - 1.4k per week
Will end up replacing Lussenhoff or Tuzzio when they leave or retire, and at the moment attracting interest from teams in France,Italy and Germany but reject the offers cause he is a good player for the club and it is best to keep him cause he will be good to use when players need to rest.
Danilo Gerlo - 28 - Argentinian - Right - 210k - 1.1k per week
Gerlo is the 3rd best player at the club at this position and does get a bit of interest shown in him by domestic clubs or a few European teams. Worth keeping so the prefered pairing in the heart of defence can possibly have a rest, but do not hesitate putting him in the team against anyone cause he can do a decent job for you.
Nicolas Sanchez - 21 - Right - 400k - 625 per week
A very good player but tends to let himself down by making mistakes in matches.Overall though comparing to other players in this division he is better than most.I would advise you to not to play him versus the top teams cause it may lead to points been dropped but he does improve and gets alot better in the future.
Emmanuel Martinez - 18 - Right - Argentinian - 5k - 200 per week
Certainly one to keep a eye on cause he will be a star for the team in the future, when you try bid for players in Argentina they normally try ask for him in a part exchange so resist doing this cause you will lose a decent player.Worth keeping.
Huracio Ameli - 33 - Argentinian - Right - 350k - 5.5k per week
Although 33, he will get a few first team opportunities and will do a good job against team.Best to keep him as a backup Defender.
Defensive Midfielders/Centre Midfielder's
Rene Lima - 22 - Argentinian - Left - 75k - 750 per week
Lima and Ponzio would be the ideal partnership in the centre of the pitch cause they are nearer enough the same and are both a different class compared to the rest of the league.I would advice you not to play him in a Defensive Midfielder position though.
Leonardo Ponzio - 25 - Argentinian - Right - 2.3m - 4.9k per week
This guy is class and should really be playing for a top European team and not in Argentina, definately a Key Player, can play in three positions which are Defensive Midfield, Centre Midfield and as a Right Midfielder,he can be effective in any of those positions mentioned and will always get good match ratings.Do not sell him.
Nicolas Domingo - 22 - Argentinian - Right - 50k - 775 per week
Nothing really say about this player except for transfer list him cause there are better players in front him and available to purchase.
Oscar Ahumada - 24 - Right - 1.6m - 2.4k per week
Oscar will find it tough getting in the starting eleven due to Ponzio and Lima cause they are a bit better than him,but he is a good player to put in the team if either of them get injured or if you need to make tactical changes.Worth keeping.
Dario Conca - 24 - Argentinian - Left - 1.4m - 4.7k per week
Currently on Loan in Brazil with Vasco. he will be a valuable asset when he returns and will definately get in the starting eleven with ease.
Left Midfielders
Matias Abelairas - 22 - Argentinian - Left - 55k - 700 per week
He is a average player but can still play a small part in helping the club to be a success.Best to play him against mid-table and below teams cause he will perform better than playing a top side.Worth holding on to as he improves in the future.
Sixto Peralta - 28 - Argentinian - Right - 1.3m - 1.5k per week
Peralta can play in multiple positions also across the centre of the pitch, could get in any team domestically and will definately get alot of First Team football through out the season. It would be hard to find a replacement for him in the future.
Rubens Sambueza - 23 - Argentinian - Left - 1.8m - 1.5k per week
Out on Loan at the moment to Puma's, but is a good winger to have when he gets back and will be worth a substitute place at least.Ignore the stats cause he improves on certain areas and will eventually get a First Team place.Worth holding to.
Right Midfielders
Mauro Rosales - 26 - Argentinian - Right - 1.4m - 4.7k per week Rosales is one of the best wingers in Argentina at the moment and could get in any team including most European teams. Will assist quite a few through the season and will also score some goals.Regarded as a Key Player to the team and I would not sell him at all.
Ariel Ortega - 33 - Argentinian - Right - 2.1m - 3.3k per week
A veteran winger who is still a decent player despite been 33.Can play up front aswell as a Right Winger but only play him there if you need to although he will score for you,he is better on the wing in all fairness.Key Player do not sell him.
Fernando Belluschi - 23 - Argentinian - Right - 3.1m - 5k per week
He is a very good player who chips in with goals and alot of assist but unfortunately he will be doing this for a top club in Europe at not in River Plate team cause he moves on due to the Chairman accepting a offer for him. Auguto Fernandez - 21 - Argentinian - Right - 350k - 1k per week
A good player to have and will in the future be a starting eleven player but not in the first season.
Striker's
Rolando Zarate - 28 - Argentinian - Right - 210k - 4.7k per week
A nice player to have in your team, can also score and assist on the wing's although he is only supposed to be a striker.A better finisher than Ruben in matches, but overall uben is just a tad better.Worth holding on to.
Marco Ruben - 20 - Argentinian - Right - 2.6m - 600 per week
A decent player for is age, would walk in to most teams domestically. The only issue with Ruben is that he needs alot of chances before he converts them in to goals, but will get is fair tally of goals. One for the future.
Falcao - 21 - Columbian - Right - 1.3m - 1.2k per week
The Columbian player is one of the best strikers in this division and easily the best at the club.A top striker who will score goals freely against most teams and should be the top goal scorer out of the current choice available.Definately a key player.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hopefully this Guide can help you when taking charge at River Plate.Thank you for reading this, and the next Guide will be announced soon.
I might try and do a few League guides. IE Austrian Bundesliga, Allsvenskan etc, I would do some player's guide but it seems most of the player's I know of have already been discovered so it would be a waste of time.
Also, This Guide is only available for FMF and not for any other site without my permission,If you wish to post this on another site/forum you must ask before you can use it.To ask please send a Private Message.

Woohoo, the River Plate guide is there! Thanks for willing to do my request mate and once again, it is an amazing guide! By the way, if you want, you can include the downloadlinks to my Argentinian Players Guide shortlists in this thread. You can find that thread in the Scouting Network section.
Something else, I noticed you include one big line in your guide. With this I mean the "--------------". One is so big that it stretches my screen and makes a scrollbar appear below. I've taken the liberty to make that line a bit smaller so it fixed your problems. Hope you don't mind.
Again, great job with this guide mate. You truly are dedicated and I always like to see that. Keep it up and perhaps it would be a good idea to work on some other things (guides) as well to keep it a bit variated.
