Tactics
4-4-2
Goalkeepers Tim Wiese, Easily one of the best Goal Keepers in the Bundesliga and the best in the current Werder Bremen squad.Needs competition to maintain form and with a lack of a second choice GoalKeeper is position is safe and should be regarded as your Number 1. Centre Defence Petri Pasanen,An excellent defender and leader, has all the key skills to keep the opponents at bay,the only down fall is the need for him to have a bit more pace, can also do a ok job in the right back position.Easily good enough to be a starter and at least on the bench.
Marin Mandic,Not ready for first team football lacks the skills especially in the first season and needs time to improve in the U23s,maybe could be tryed versus weaker opposition to see if he might be capable of been a future player. Per Mertesacker,Best centre back at Werder Bremen and probably one of the best in Europe in his position, regarded as a Key Player and a player who you should keep at the club cause finding a player of this quality will cost you. Naldo,Most likely the perfect centre back to partner Mertersacker, this pairing could keep even the best strike force leaving the field empty handed.Has all the key attributes to make a name for himself at the club and help the team to keep clean sheets which is one of the important areas for a successful club. Leon Andreasen,Can be used in a couple of positions which include Defensive Midfield and Centre Back, both positions. He as the attributes to do very well when either starting or coming off the bench, would be good to get him to tutor has he as some important knowledge to pass on to a younger player. Peter Niemeyer,Will struggle to hold down a regular first team place and is way down the pecking order, could be used against mid table or below teams when you need to rest key centre backs for important matches or if they are in need of a rest. Full Backs
Dusko Tosic, Second choice Left Back at best, shouldnt be considered as a centre back due to there been alot better options in front of him, needs a couple of seasons to see if he could fight to be a starter. Pierre Wome, The best Left Back in the current team but I would advice you to keep a eye out for a better Left Back cause against better teams he will most likely struggle but not for the first two - three seasons. Sebastian Boenisch, Worth giving this guy is fair share of football threw out the season cause then he may be able to over take Wome in the future as the First choice Left back. Clemens Fritz, Best Right back available at the club and worth keeping for a few seasons untill you can find a better replacement, dont get me wrong he can play against some good teams threw out Europe but unfortunately he might not be good enough against teams who have World Class Wingers. Patrick Owomoyela, The second best Right Back at the club, could get playing time when Fritz is needing a rest or versus average teams.
Midfielders
Frank Baumann, Just ahead of Frings as the strongest Defensive Midfielder and can also be a vice captain. Will do well when he plays and it doesnt matter who the opposition is.Top player who could walk into most of the best teams in Europe. Amaury Bischoff, Needs to improve before even considered to be placed in the First Team, lacks Strength and Stamina and will struggle against better opposition, but at 20 he has time to make the adjustments needed to force is way in the team but it wont be for a couple of seasons at least due to there been three to five strong players in front him.Worth keeping a eye on though or possibly be made available on loan. Jurica Vranjes,Third best Defensive Midfielder could do well against any team but not very consitent will most likely struggle to hold on to a First Team place and spend the time on the bench, possible candidate for the transfer list if not in the first season it must be the season after cause he can easily be replaced by someone who has a better chance of breaking in the First Team. Torsten Frings, A Cultured Midfielder leader who can defend as well as he can attack, plays in a secondary position as a Right Midfielder which he can do very well and make that place in the first team is own.It will be hard to find a suitable replacement that matches the quality he has. Tim Borowski, Versatile player who can play up to four positions all very well due to the good attributes he has got. These include playing as Defensive Midfielder,Centre Midfielder and a Left Midfielder all tryed and tested without any issues. The last position he can possibly play is Attacking Midfielder,a good long shot, flair and Strength are just a few attributes which helps him to fufill this role.Key Player. Thomas Johrden.Probably hasnt got a future at the club could give him a few seasons in the 2nd team to see if theres a possibilty of improvement or just loan him out to give him the experience needed to play at this level. Attacking Midfielders Aaron Hunt,A very Attack minded Midfielder could be used versus any team and if needed be he is also a attacker a position which he will do a very good job, could possibly get around the 20 goals tally per season if given chances threw the season.Only 20 years of age to so it is best to keep hold of him has he has a very dcent future ahead of him, Carlos Alberto, This guy will be a subsititute at best due to Diego been in front of him,Labelled the next Zinho could be a big impact player like Diego when coming off the bench but is a good player to start if needed to against any opposition. Diego. Is the playmaker of the team who will most likely be ahead in the assists in front of is team mates,Definetly a Key Player also will chip in with goals to.
Strikers Ivan Klasnic,Can score goals freely as a lone striker or with strike partner, regarded as a Key Player.Sometimes as a spell of not scoring in quite a few consecutive games. Hugo Almeida,Guranteed goal machine, dont let the stats fool you,on any given day against any team in the world he could score for fun.Worth keeping and will most likely be Werder Bremen's top goal scorer at the end of the season and a great. Markus Rosenberg. An average striker who will try is best when given the chance. Will waste alot of chances due to the lack of Composure......he might hit a tally of 10 if lucky but would be deemed a risky and unpredicatable player.Possibly be best to transfer list him and find a cheaper and better alternative. Boubacar Sanogo,A decent striker who will chip in with goals against most teams.Better than Rosenberg but it would be best to maybe find a suitable replacement.
Werder Bremen U23s
GoalKeepers Kevin Fickentscher,A very unpredictable Goal Keeper,it will depend on how he improves in the first season before a decision is made on if he can break in the First Team but i doubt he will,he will most likely be a Transfer Listed or Released player but think about it first. Michael Jurgen,This guy wont be a first team regular in the near future and i would advice you to put him on the Transfer List. Nico Pellatz,I wouldnt expect much from him,he is a below average Goal Keeper but would be best to try keep hold of for a season to see if there is a slim chance of improvement been shown. If he doesnt improve try loaning him out and if it remains the same then Transfer List him and use the resources to try get a 16 year old keeper who would have a chance in the Future to be a First Team member. Robbert te Loeke,Keep him for two seasons maximum to see if he can improve, would be a deemed a risk due to him been unpredictable. He will most likely be made available on the Transfer List or released in the future. Christian Vander,Could be used as a 2nd choice Goal Keeper if you have failed to find a suitable Goal Keeper either on Loan or Bought in to be back up to Tim Weise.Maybe try him versus weaker teams but its best to keep him for the first season at least.
Centre Backs Daniel Halke,Like many players in the Werder Bremen second team he will not get in the First Team due to there been too many better options in front of him so it would be best to Transfer List him. Francis Banecki,A Strong Centre back with above average attributes, would possibly be a Substitute at best but worth holding on to. Alexander Hessel,You can either Loan him out or keep him to train in the second team. The future of this player can be Unpredictable and could end up good or bad but worth a risk. Florian Mohr, I dont reckon he would be considered a First Team regular and might be best to look at Transfer Listing him.If you do decide on keeping him makesure you try him against average teams before playing him against top quality teams in the future, Dominik Schmidt,Best to make him available on the Transfer List cause he wont get in the proper Team. Toni Gange,Slim possibilty of been a good player in the future all depends on how he improves, just give him a couple of seasons before making a decision.
Full Backs Sandro Stallbaum,This guy shouldnt be considered to even be a possible candidate for a first team place and it would be best to make him available to clubs on the Transfer List and bringing in a cheaper but better option.. Norman Theuerkauf,Maybe a good replacement for Wome in the future but not in the first season.Would be best to try him in the First Team versus weaker or average opponents to see if there is a possibilty of been tryed against good teams first. But let him play for the Second Team and improve there.
Midfielders Robert Lohmeier, Transfer List this player wont improve much and would be a waste of time to hold on to. Dominic Peitz,Not good enough for the First Team but there are too many better options in front of him. Will possibly not even get in the First Team even if you needed to rest players he will not get in,best to find a cheaper option who will have more of a chance to break in to the First Team. Kevin Artmann,Worth keeping for at least a season to see if there could be a chance of him getting in the First Team will all depend on how he improves. But there is a ok attribute base to work from. Daniel Jansen,Maybe a Substitute at best, could be a possible candidate for the transfer list and then use the money to find some better options. But possibly could do a ok job against certain teams or used when players need a rest.
Attacking Midfielders Max Kruse, Will never be deemed a First Team member in the Future would be best to Transfer List him. Martin Harnik,Definetly worth keeping as all the attributes to become a great at the club but it wont be in the First season though. Patrick Barje,Could possibly depend on how he improves in the first couple of season.Dont get me wrong he as a slim chance of been a First Team player but he might be ok to try against weaker teams or in friendlies. Kenny Schmidt,Loan him out to see how he performs. Marc Heider,Not much to say about him except Transfer List him due to the fact he has not got the attributes to be in the First Team and will most likely not improve in the future. Julian Grundt,Might be a good player in the future but at the moment he is way down the pecking order due to the fact there are stronger players in front of him.
Strikers John Jairo Mosquera, Best to loan him out to give him the proper experience before decided if he is capable of been a First Team regular. But will eventually get in the Proper team and score goals. Mirko Jankowski,Possible chance of breaking in to the First Team and worth holding on to. Frank Loning,Will not get in the First Team and lacks the attributes to be a good striker.Transfer List candidate.
Werder Bremen U19s Team changes on each start up so theres only a couple of players that i have put on. Defence Centre Backs
Dino Fazlic,He will be a player to watch out for as he as the attributes to be a star of the future and will be a First Team member when he reaches a mature age, also Dubbed the new Branimir Bajic but i would say that Fazlic will be alot better,do not sell him.
Full Backs Alperslan Erdem,Could be a good Full Back in the future if properly trained.Worth keeping though. Striker Andreas Granskov,Not worth holding on to,maybe would be best to bring in a younger and cheaper option.
