FC Bayern
Goalkeepers
Jens Musterman ( Oliver Khan ): In is final season in football and due to retire on 30/06/08 at the age of 38.This after spending 14 years at is current club FC Bayern Munich when purchased in 1994 from Karlsruhe for 1.7m,Still a solid goalkeeper especially for someone at this age and will be important member for the current campaign and in Europe.
Michael Rensing, This guy will be the future number 1 once Musterman hangs up is boots and retire, aged just 23 years old he still has alot of time left in football and with excellent Handling,Reflexes,Bravery and Positioning he has all the necessary aquirements to be a excellent shot stopper for the club.
Bernd Dreher, although he is 40 years old it is best to keep him due to been a really good goal keeping coach,i wouldnt advice anyone to sell him.
Center Backs
Lucio,Very strong centre commanding centre back for club and country, which can keep even some of the best strikers in the world under wraps and a joy for goal keepers,as a tendency of getting quite a few bookings and a high number of red cards threw out the season.Even scores the odd goal.
Daniel Van Buyten, An excellent leader and decent centre back worth holding on to,same age as Lucio 29 years old,but its best to bring someone in who can
Valerian Ismael,Although 31,he is still good enough for a couple of seasons still has a bit of pace to stop attacks. It would be best to keep a eye out for a replacement incase is performances are below par. .
Martin Demichelis,A very solid player who can play as a Defender Centre and in a Defensive Midfielder position which would possibly be best for him as he the right attributes to hold that position and make it is own. I wouldnt sell him unless there was a better option but thats impossible for first season.
Full Backs
Philipp Lahm,One of the best Full backs in the world, attack minded and can share the load when it comes to scoring, great Teamwork,Pace,Tackling are just a few decent abilities to either attack or defend, definetly a key player that should not be sold.
Christian Lell,Average Left Back, keep in mind he is only 22 but in my opinion he wont get much playing time once a strong left back is at the club and will most likely be transfer listed, but keep in mind he might be able do a good job and improve but i doubt it.
Willy Sagnol,A veteran right back very consistent performer despite is age worth keeping hold of till a suitable replacement is at the club.
Hamit Altintop,Most likely a starting right back and can also play as a Defensive midfielder,a threat going forward and a strong right back as all the tools to be a successful player.
Marcell Jansen,Theres something about this guy which makes me want to give him a chance in the first team due to him only been 21 years old,i reckon he will play well when given the opportunity but will most likely be at best a 2nd or 3rd choice Left Back and will probably be used against weaker opposition or when resting players.
Defensive Midfielders
Andreas Ottl,Maybe a second or third choice Defensive Midfielder with the current players at the club but its best to keep hold of him with him only been 22 years old,he will do a decent job when given the chance even against major European teams.
Midfield Centre
Mark Van Bommel, A Tireless 30 year old Midfielder who can make things happen and track back when needed, even gets on the score sheet now and again. Its best to keep a eye out for a replacement cause you can possibly get a few good seasons out of him, plus he can play in a few more positions which include Defensive Midfielder and Attacking Midfielder which makes him a Key Player.
Attacking Midfielders
Michael Gorlitz, Not really capable of holding is own at the club and is most likely third or fourth choice in the Attacking Midfielder Right position, maybe would be best to relegate him to the U23s or send him out on Loan, give him a season to either improve or see what hes capable of also get him tutored.
Franck Ribery,One of the best wingers available who can score and assist, always makes things happen and is performances are constantly very good, only 24 he will be a key asset to FC Bayern and a player that should not be sold.He can tear any defence in to shreds and strike fear in any team put in front of him.
Jose Sosa, Probably wouldnt get into the first 11 but would be a excellent substitute, has very good attributes to do well against any team and is one of the summer signings for 5.5m and is only 22 years old and could most likely take over Ze Robertos place in the future.
Bastien Schweinsteiger.First choice Attacking Midfielder Left,as all the markings to be a FC Bayern great, can assist alot of goals aswell as getting is fair share of goals, regarded as a Key Player and should never be deemed not wanted.
Ze Roberto,Getting on a bit now at the age of 32 and is probably the second choice at the Attacking Midfielder Left position in the current squad,it would be best to sell him within two seasons and find a younger replacement but dont rush into replacing him with someone who may not be better.
Toni Kross,Only 17 years old and will definately get is fair share of football experience, could possibly turn out to be a top player for the club if used in the correct manner, should also look at tutoring him so he can improve is skills.Maybe worth a risk to keep for about two - three seasons.
Strikers
Lucas Podolski, Only 22 years old and is already a proven international striker 22 goals in 38 appearances for Germany, also a very strong forward who will score bags of goals threw out the season can be used as a attacking midfielder giving the manager more options to.Could possibly reach around the 20 - 30 goals per season mark and will be a threat against even the best defences globally.
Lucas Toni, One of FC Bayerns new additions after joining from Fiorentina for a nice 7.5m price tag i feel Lucas will get is fair amount of goals as the season progresses maybe around the 15 tally and possibly more assists. But it would be best to use him on the subs bench so he could come on and change the game in your favour.
Miroslav Klose, A proven international with 69 caps for Germany and one of FC Bayerns summer signings after moving from Werder Bremen for 8.25m which is a bargain, like previous football managing games Klose scores for fun against any opposition and it is the same on 2008,possibly will score more than Podolski but sometimes can be inconsitent in some matches but worth keeping.
Jan Schlaudraff, I honestly dont think he has the skills to hold down a place in the current FC Bayern team and probably best to loan or transfer list him.It would be best to get a loan striker just for the season untill the transfer budget has been increased to bring a better option in.
FC Bayern Under 23s
Goalkeepers
Max Grun,Similar type of player to Michael Rensing but a few years younger at the age of 20 could possibly overtake Rensing in goals in the future if given the right training and used correctly but this wont be for a while cause he lacks certain key skills to be a goal keeper for the first team maybe he will end up as a number 2 or third choice at best.
Thomas Kraft. Again like Grun he is a similar type of player to Rensing but i feel this guy has more of a chance of getting in the first team than Grun cause he already as the key areas covered to be a top goal keeper for FC Bayern but again he needs to be nutured in the right way for him to succeed.Keep a eye out for him worth keeping hold of could be a excellent prospect.
Center Backs
Michael Kokocinski, Not good enough to get into first team and at 22 it would be best to sell him.
Marco Hoferth,Possibly a future player it all depends on how he improves in the first season,if there hasnt been much improvement it would be best to release or transfer list him.
Thomas Linke,At 37 years old its best to sell him to free up space for wages cause he wont get in the FC Bayerns first team.
Georg Nierdermeier,Probably the best centre back in the U23s and most likely get a few games under is belt for the first team.Could improve to get into first team but is deemed a risk.
Tom Schultz,Lacks the pace to defend aswell as other important attributes. Not worth holding on to,possible canditate for transfer list or send out on loan if unsure.
Christian Saba,Nothing much to say about him, will never get in the first team and should be transfer listed, been 28 years old doesnt help him either.
Full Backs
Andreas Gorlitz,A solid right back, but he is out on loan in the first season,Could possibly replace Sagnol and be used as a temporary second choice right back if a replacement hasnt been purchased but worth keeping hold of for a bit at least.
Christopher Krause,Transfer List him cause he hasnt got the right skills to get in the first team.
Marcus Steinhofer,Out on loan for the first season might be a good player to try out when he returns from is loan spell.
Defensive Midfielders
Stefan Furstner,Give him one season to show signs of improvements if it still remains the same then transfer list him or loan him out but its a gamble in my opinion.
Timo Heinz,Not even worth keeping, cant see this guy been in any future FC Bayern squad best transfer list him.
Attacking Midfielders
Deniz Yilmaz,Best to give him a season to see signs of improvement before making a decision on this players future.
Fabian Muller,Probably as the best chance out of the current set of Attacking Midfielders of even getting a chance of first team football, but it wont be many games.
Julio Daniel Dos Santos,Out on Loan, best to wait til he gets back to club so hes given a fair chance to impress in the first team, probably a subsitute at best when he returns.
Matthias Scharwz,Worth keeping for a few seasons at least, monitor him carefully though.
Sandro Wagner,Transfer list him cause he lacks the attributes to break into the first team.
Marco Stier,23 year old Attacking Midfielder Centre just been deemed as surplus to requirements and Sold.
Strikers
Daniel Sikorski. 19 year old Austrian striker who is a product of FC Bayerns youth academy, worth keeping hold of for a few seasons to be given a fair chance for a first team place, possibly try him in friendlies or against weaker opposition in the domestic cup competitions to see how he fairs. But he is better option than Schlaudraff in my opinion
FC Bayern U19s
Goalkeepers
Rafael Strobel , Only 15 years old and a promising goal keeper could be best to get him tutored by a good goal keeper at the club.In my opinion this guy with out a shadow of doubt will definately be a number 1 goal keeper once he reaches a respectable age.Id say he could easily be better than Rensing and Musterman in the future.
Center Backs
Mario Erb, I would not expect much from him, will never be a future FC Bayern centre back so i would not but much effort into helping him improve.Best to get rid of him.
Matthias Hass,Another player who will not cut it at FC Bayern, dont expect him to suceed in the future.
Matt Hummels,There is a slim chance of him making the first team in the future if he can improve on certain areas, but at 18 years old there must be improvement within two seasons for this to happen, tutor him and keep hold of him.
Robert Muller,A 15 year old Promising centre back would be best to keep a good eye on him cause as the years ahead of him to make the difference and could possibly get in the first team in the future.Needs to be tutored though.
Full Backs
Alexander Adler,A promising 15 year old Left Back, could possibly be a future left back depending on how he improves and is nutured, worth keeping a constant eye on him though has he may suprise you.
Stefano Celozzi,Explosive full back aged 18 years old who doesnt have a future at the club cause he lacks the right attributes to be a good player and it might be best to release him or something along those lines.
Midfield Centre
Knut Breu,A promising winger with good attributes to improve on for the future, worth keeping for a few years at least.
Frederic Doll,Touted as the next Franz Beckenbauer, with a good ground base to improve like Knut Breu its best to give him time to show you what he has got to offer for the club and maybe look at a tutor for him as this may help to speed up the process. This guy could possibly be a future star.
Memhet Ekici,Nothing special, probably be best release him and bring in another MC under 19 player to replace him.
Ozturk Ismail,Labelled the next Oguz Cetin, this will most likely be a risky one which could be more to do with luck to how he will turn out in the future, but give him a fair chance to see if he has a future at the club. The Unambitious part could be is down fall to been a future success.
Attacking Midfielders
Dominik Bucher,I wouldnt expect much from him although a promising winger there is not a good base to work from and i dont think he will ever get in the first team in the future.
Victor Voss,Like Ozturk Ismail this could depend on how you nuture the player, keep in mind the correct tution is required, but theres a feeling he will just end up been released in the future and wont make the grade for the club. FC Bayern U19s
Matthias Schulster. Promising striker and is only 15 years old, would be worth trying to nuture for the future and get him tutored by Klose or Poldolski to give him a few additional skillls to terrorise the opposition,i rate him highly and can see him been a future first team player maybe could be better than Poldolski and Klose in the future.
Daniel Kramer,Although touted as the Next Jurgen Klinsman i dont think he will be good enough to hold down a place in the first team when he reaches a reasonable age,i would keep him for a bit to see if a gamble will be worth it.
Patrick Marx,14 year olds touted as the next Jurgen Klinsman this might be good to help him improve by tutoring and hopefully there may be some rapid improvement on is attributes only time will tell and if i was you i would keep hold of him.
Who To Buy
Key areas of improvement Midfield Centre/Defensive Midfielder,Left Back,Left Wing plus Up front,Most of this is to cover important injuries.

Thanks I am glad that this Guide received nice comments,I have some more Team Guides lined up including Werder Bremen.HSV,PSV,Ajax,Stoke City to name a few,if there is any team people might want a Team Guide for i could possibly do one.
Walkinshaw and Woodsy, regarding Toni I have tryed to play him in the starting eleven many times but for me he scores more from coming off the match against tired defenders, this could possibly be my tactics on why he does not score many in the starting line up.But Klose and Poldolski are better in my opinion, but I might start a new FC Bayern game and double check about Toni.
Fedorico cheers m8 for telling me about the error regarding Saviola,I have now changed it to the correct club.
