This is the tactic I'm using for my current game. The midfields and forwards tend to keep the ball very well as they make short passes most of the time. While the back four just bombs the ball forward. The defense does tend to look a bit shaky just because they're defending high up the pitch. Wingers and Fullbacks are key to this formation, as this tactic is played very wide. The two central midfields are also important as they keep possession and keep the ball moving if one of your wide men loses the ball. It is sometimes inconsistent but so far I have been winning 9 games in a row including 6 straight league wins.

* If a team is playing a narrow approach againts you, change the passing priority to down both flanks. (Or if you see that the opposition players rarely mark your wingers).

* Try putting the tempo on slow and the passing to direct if the team if the default approach isn't working.

Sorry but I haven't done any extensive research on this tactic, since I have just recently used it.
